NFL Season 2017 Week 17: Denver Broncos vs Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, December 31, 4:25 PM, Sports Authority Field@Mile High

The Denver Broncos lost to the Kansas City Chiefs, 24 to 27, ending the Broncos abismal season record of 5-11. The match was a seesaw battle between the two teams up until the 3rd quarter, seeing the Chiefs with a 14 point lead going to the 4th. The Chief’s young guns surely shined this game from leading to a myriad of conversions from left to right. But not to be undone the Broncos fought back and tied the game on the 3rd minute, only to be disheartened by a Harrison Butker 30 yard field goal, in the dying seconds of the game, which was like a dagger to the hearts of Broncos fans.

Overall the Chiefs gave an impressive performance, most notable from the rookies, and even set some records and some stars shined brighter than ever: Patrick Mahomes became the first rookie to start for the Chiefs in more than 30 years and he did not disappoint. Kareem Hunt finished top of the NFL with 1,327 yards to claim the rushing title. Harrison Butker’s 30 yeard game winning field goal moved him up to 5th place for NFL’s all time field goal record list. Anthony Sherman fought his way to give the lead back to the Chief’s 14-10. This was a career day from him because he previously only had 14 yards in 107 career games. Despite the awesome performance and game winning field goal, the Chief’s ended the game with 7 injured.

NFL Season 2017 Week 16: Denver Broncos at Washington Redskins on Sunday, December 24, 1:00 PM, FedEx Field

The Denver broncos visited Washington Redskins in what turned to be a very entertaining match. Although the Broncos put up a good fight in the offense, they faced a tough challenge from the opponents. With one of the best quarterback any team can wish for, the Redskins had an advantage that was enough to secure them a win. This is not to say that other players weren’t good, it just shows that with a strong lead, any team can face any challenge and put up a good fight to emerge winners. The Redskins’ quarterback managed 299 yards with three touchdowns and one interception but it was his ability to maneuver past the Bronco’s defense that was impressive the most.

The game that ended 27-11 in favor of the Redskins put Broncos put them up a couple of positions higher though it wasn’t one of their best performances. They continue to struggle and their fans hope to see an improvement in their next match against the Kansas City Chiefs. Both the offensive and defensive tried to do their best but it wasn’t good enough with the fans feeling that some of the players didn’t do a good job. The Broncos quarterback had much pressure and though he tried, he only managed 54 yards and an interception.

NFL Season 2017 Week 15: Denver Broncos at Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, December 14, 8:25 PM, Lucas Oil Stadium

The game between the Broncos and the Colts did not go as we thought it would. The game was very interesting because the Colts were not able to capitalize on the fact that the Broncos were having problems at quarterback. The Broncos were able to stop the Colts from scoring, and they were ableto get some scoring on defense. It is very simple to see why the Broncos won because their defense is so good. They have made the shift to defense as their featured squad, and they might have to stay this way for a while.

The Colts were not able to get anything going on offense because they have not had Andrew Luck back in the line up yet. The Colts are fading this season, and the Broncos will not be able to catch up in their division. The Colts have proven that they need to get Andrew Luck back, and the Broncos have shown that they need to reevaluate how they are managing their team. The Broncos and Colts are both in the middle of seasons that are just not going all that well.

NFL Season 2017 Week 14: Denver Broncos vs New York Jets on Sunday, December 10, 4:05 PM, Sports Authority Field@Mile High

This was a never expected performance with New York jets fired up for a win while Denver came in with an 8 game losing streak. Denver were cautious of a ninth loss which could have been a repeat of a 1967 history.

Denver had an efficient display of defense against the struggling visitors smashing them 23-0. ”This is the kind of game we expected to play against everyone not just New York” said the outside linebacker Shane ray. He also added that Everybody that we play, we should beat them like this. Period. We just haven’t been able to find that formula.”

The jets were out of luck with their quarterback, josh receiving hard hits and being knocked from the game. A clean shot by Denver’s Shane left him with a broken hand in the third quarter leading to a replacement by Bryce Petty. Petty only completed 2 of 9 for 14 yards.

Injuries suffered by Jets were the running back Elijah McGuire who had an ankle injury, their long snapper Thomas Hennessey who came off with a head injury and Josh McCown.Denver lost Justin Simmons their starting safety to an ankle injury, the inside linebacker Todd who had a head concussion and the second safety Jamal Carter being knocked from the game with a left shoulder injury.

NFL Season 2017 Week 13: Denver Broncos at Miami Dolphins on Sunday, December 03, 1:00 PM, Hard Rock Stadium

To create a change in the game, the Dolphins were able to maintain a lead. The lead continues to move in that prospect throughout the game. To complete the Dolphin’s 2nd touchdown, Xavien Howard was able to give back an interception in a 7-second period in the first quarter of the game. By having a victory over the Broncos, the Miami Dolphins were able to cancel a five straight loss of their games. The match ended 35-9 in the favor of the Dolphins. In the second quarter of the game, Dolphins remained in the lead, making it the second time throughout the season.

The Dolphins also continued to maintain the lead after the third quarter of the game. Since Week seven, the amazing defense of the Dolphins helped in winning the game over the Broncos. The Broncos has lost 8 of their games, making the condition to move from poor to worst. In a match, the Dolphins were able to score 2 safeties for the first time in the history of the team. The Broncos quarterback called Trevor Siemian was able to move from twenty to forty-two for two hundred and nineteen yards. Trevor had 3 sacks and three interceptions during the game. On the Miami side, Kenyan Drake was able to run for one hundred and twenty yards on twenty-three carries.

NFL Season 2017 Week 12: Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders on Sunday, November 26, 4:25 PM, Oakland Coliseum

Derek Carr came back to throw a pass with an opportunity to seal a win through a third down conversion. With a second hurt and one starting receiver removed, the Raider’s twenty-one points lead dropped to 7. In the defense, Carr was able to fling the ball into the empty space. Cordarrelle Patterson was able to run under the ball that Carr threw and had a rumble at fifty-four yards for the premier down that led to the victory of the Raiders with a 21-14 score. This match will be highly remembered for brawl between Aqib Talib and Michael Crabtree, which led to the removal of three players. The scenario for both teams remains an upheaval as the Denver fired Mike McCoy the offensive coordinator. The Denver also replaced a quarterback before the commencement of the game against the Raiders.

The Raiders also removed Ken Norton Jr. before they battled with the Denver. The war between Talib and Crabtree covered the current disarray. In the first game under defensive play-caller, the Raiders were able to record their long-awaited premier interception of the season. For the first time in fifty years, the Denver has lost 7 matches in a row. The battle remains a continuation between Crantree and Talib in the last season. This year, Crabtree did not play the first game between the teams, but didn’t spend more time for revenge.

NFL Season 2017 Week 11: Denver Broncos vs Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, November 19, 4:25 PM, Sports Authority Field@Mile High

Cincinnati Bengals stunned the Denver Broncos in their own backyard, with a well deserved 20-17 win. The Bengals who are going through a rough season have the worst offensive and defensive lines in the NFL. Furthermore, the Cincinnati Bengals had never won a game in Denver for 40 years and were overwhelming underdogs going into this game. The Denver Broncos however had troubles of their own. They had not had a win in five games and looked a pale shadow of the team that won the Superbowl just last year. They were nevertheless expected to turn their fortunes around by beating the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton had an outstanding game and made three touchdown passes that propelled his team to victory. The Bengals defense also put up a spirited display to repel waves of attack from the Broncos. In an attempt to motivate the team’s effort, the Denver Broncos general manager had before the game criticized the team for being soft. But his sentiments did little to inspire his team to win and their winless streak now stretches to six games, their worst run in twenty seven years. While the under-fire Bengals may have earned a little breathing space, Denver Broncos are now seem to be in trouble and their next few results will now prove pivotal for the fate of their management and some team payers.

NFL Season 2017 Week 10: Denver Broncos vs New England Patriots on Sunday, November 12, 8:30 PM, Sports Authority Field@Mile High

New England has shown to tighten its defense, holding each one of its five opponent to fewer than 17 points. The Broncos, on the other looked like it’s a poorly coached team and a disappointing season more than it’s in any other game for Denver. However, there was some electric first-half performance, especially from Bronco`s wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. On the other hand, the Patriots exploited some matchup scratchers as the Broncos struggled to keep up with atight end and slot receivers.

It was a glaring moment in the second half of the game when the defense earned a stop on third down that saw them be penalized when New England lined up for a

quick punt and caught the Broncos with only 12 men on the field. Broncos coach, VanJoseph, decision to keep rookie kicks returner Isaiah McKenzie even after stumbling five times this team set up Tom Brady touchdown pass to Rex Burkhead that gave New England lead. Tom Brady outshined the Broncos defenders Shane ray and von miller when he completed 25 out of 34 passes for 266 yards. There were a lot and exciting moments from Patriots first half gameplay with Malcolm Butler and Stephon on the perimeter. Butler lost the overall battle but Sander played really well and really worked for those thrilling catches.

NFL Season 2017 Week 9: Denver Broncos at Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, November 05, 1:00 PM, Lincoln Financial Field

The Denver Broncos visited the NFC East division-leading Philadelphia Eagles. The Broncos could not slow down the high powered offense of the Eagles, who were led by their quarterback Carson Weintz. The young quarterback threw four touchdown passes on fifteen completions. The Eagles did not only rely on the arm of their quarterback they also had two running backs score three more touchdowns.

The top receivers for the Eagles were Alshon Jeffery who had Eighty-four yards and two touchdowns on six catches, and Trey Burton who had forty-one yards on two receptions and one touchdown. The Eagle defense held the Broncos to only twenty-three points by causing the Denver offense to turn the ball over twice, both of which were on interceptions.

The Denver offense was led by their quarterback Brock Osweiler who pass for two hundred and eight yards on nineteen completions and threw for one touchdown. The Broncos were held in check most of the game except for the number one receiver Demaryius Thomas, who caught eight passes for seventy yards and one touchdown. The other offensive contributor for the Broncos was their placekicker Brandon McManus who kicked two field goals over fifty yards and gave the team a third field goal for twenty-four yards.

NFL Season 2017 Week 8: Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs on Monday, October 30, 8:30 PM, Arrowhead Stadium

The Denver Broncos met with Kansas City Chiefs in an AFC match that ended with the Chiefs beating the Broncos. Although this win didn’t come as a surprise, it still disappointed many fans who expected the Denver team to win as they have been struggling during the season and had lost three consecutive games, scoring only a total of 20 points. The Chiefs also lost twice consecutively but they put up a strong defense and managed to keep them at bay and stayed unpredictable through the game. This isn’t to say the game wasn’t competitive.

From the beginning to the fourth quarter, the Broncos did what they could to keep the offense from scoring. They had a better pass protection, ran the ball for 177 yards and even held the opposition 6-2 to two third-down conversions but it wasn’t good enough to guarantee a win. This good start changed when one of the players lost the ball to the opposition who ran 45 yards and put in the first score. From then the offense became unstoppable until the final score of 29-19. Although all players tried their best, some of the fans blamed the quarterback for the loss in what seemed to be an unfair judgment.

NFL Season 2017 Week 7: Denver Broncos at Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, October 22, 4:25 PM, StubHub Center

The Los Angeles Chargers made up for the season opening loss to the Denver Broncos with a dominant 21-0 victory. The spark of the day for the Chargers came in the form of wide receiver and return man Travis Benjamin as he made big plays throughout the day resulting in two touchdowns. Benjamin’s first touchdown came on a 65 yard punt return in the first quarter. This was followed by a 42 yard touchdown pass from quarterback Philip Rivers in the fourth quarter. The Charger’s other score came from a 1 yard pass from Rivers to Austin Ekeler in the second quarter.

The Denver Broncos, who have been struggling offensively as late, failed to solve their offensive problems. The Broncos faced multiple three and outs as the Chargers defense imposed their will and dominance. Quarterback Trevor Siemian was only able to gain 207 yards on 25 of 35 as he faced a hounding Chargers defense. The Broncos quarterback was sacked five times. C.J. Anderson had a respectable day on the ground for the Broncos, but the team was not able to stick with the run game due to falling behind by double digits.

NFL Season 2017 Week 6: Denver Broncos vs New York Giants on Sunday, October 15, 8:30 PM, Sports Authority Field@Mile High

Janoris Jenkins was able to get a lot done in the game against the Denver Broncos. The Giants were not expected to do well in the game, but Jenkins was able to largely shut down one of Denver’s best receivers. You have to realize how important that interception was where Jenkins was able to run one back against Trevor Simenian. It is automatically assumed that CJ Anderson and the Denver running back is going to be too bruising for a battered defensive line like the Giants had, but the defensive line was able to hold their own and stay competitive within the world of clock management.

Eli Manning did everything he could to win that game, and with the injuries to Dwayne Harris and Sterling Shepard. You should know that the linebackers for the Giants were confident during this game, they were able to shed blocks. This is what truly made the difference as the Giants won the game. Manning’s leadership skills probably saved Ben McAdoo’s job.

NFL Season 2017 Week 4: Denver Broncos vs Oakland Raiders on Sunday, October 01, 4:25 PM, Sports Authority Field@Mile High

It will not be out of place to describe this game as a raiding of Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos. In what can be best described as a near-impressive run of form, the hosts wasted no time in charging into the visitors in the opening minutes of the game. This attack saw the Broncos rack up some un-replied 10 touch downs in the first quarter.

Apparently, the hosts were hoping to hold on to this score line till the end of the game, but the visitors were determined to fight back. Down 10-0, the Oakland Raiders fought their way up in the second quarter but were still down 10-7 when it ended. This prompted the Broncos to attempt more runs in the third quarter which successfully brought the score line to 16-7 in their favor. And while the Derek Carr led Raiders managed another three successful runs in the fourth quarter; bringing the final score line to 16-10, it was the Trevor Siemian inspired Broncos that reigned supreme in the end.

Noticeably, the Broncos maintained their first quarter clean sheet as no team has scored against them in the first quarter so far this season. In this game, however, the Broncos did not enjoy the monopoly of momentum.

The obvious complacency in the second quarter allowed the momentum to shift to the Raiders as Carr, the visitors’ quarterback, successfully completed a 99-yard touchdown drive. Carr’s effort was his side’s first 99-yards touchdown since the last one happened on October 2nd, 2011.

NFL Season 2017 Week 3: Denver Broncos at Buffalo Bills on Sunday, September 24, 1:00 PM, New Era Field

When the Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills met Sunday, most fans of football believed that the Broncos would prevail. The Broncos were undefeated and were coming off of a victory of the Dallas Cowboys where they looked very impressive. The Bills, on the other hand, were coming off of a loss to the Carolina Panthers where they only managed to score three points. Those who know football, however, realize that on any given Sunday any NFL team can be beat. The Bills defense stymied the Broncos offense early and often holding them to their lowest scoring output all season.

They also force the Broncos into two turnovers, picking off quarterback Trevor Siemian twice. On the other side of the ball, the Bills were able to move the ball despite a lackluster rushing attack. Running back LeSean McCoy barely broke 20 yards on the for the day and, as a team, the Bills only amassed 75 yards on the ground. This left the bulk of the offensive load on the arm of quarterback Tyrod Taylor. The Bills quarterback was consistent and precise with his throws making plays when his team needed it. He also avoided any costly turnovers, Though the Broncos actually racked up more yardage than the Bills, two turnovers and good defense led to the 26 to 16 victory for the Bills.

NFL Season 2017 Week 2: Denver Broncos vs Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, September 17, 4:25 PM, Sports Authority Field@Mile High

When the topic of the match-up between the Denver Broncos and the Dallas Cowboys came up, most analysts would predicted that the game would be competitive, but that ultimately America’s team would prevail. As they said, both teams are good, but Denver could not stand up to the Cowboy’s stellar offensive line and potent rushing attack. I guess someone should have told the Denver Broncos that.

Denver’s defense took away the Cowboy’s strength as they dominated the offensive line and shut down Ezekiel Elliot, holding him to less than ten yards. This made the Cowboy’s offense one dimensional and forced Dak Prescott into a career high 50 passing attempts. Against Denver’s excellent defensive secondary, this was a recipe for disaster. The Cowboy’s receivers were hounded and harassed all day and Dak was intercepted twice. The second of his interceptions resulted in a 103 yard pick six to end the game.

One the other side of the ball, Denver’s offense performed excellently as the Cowboys could do little to slow down their balanced attack. A weakness from years pass has seemingly been addressed as the Broncos were able to effectively run the ball. Behind Jamaal Charles and C.J. Anderson, the Broncos easily reached the century mark on the ground. In fact, Anderson surpassed the century total on his own.

Directing the Bronco’s offense, Trevor Siemian continues to show improvements as he matures into an outstanding professional quarterback. He demonstrated poise in the pocket as he picked apart the Cowboy’s defense with accurate throws to numerous targets in his receiving core. He finished the day with four touchdown passes as the Broncos cruised to a 42-17 victory over the Cowboys.

NFL Season 2017 Week 1: Denver Broncos vs Los Angeles Chargers on Monday, September 11, 10:20 PM, Sports Authority Field@Mile High

The Los Angeles Chargers will be meeting the Denver Broncos for the 115th regular season. The leading series for the Broncos remain 63-50-1. When representing Los Angeles, the Chargers will play at Denver with strength for the first time ever since 1960. Just like the season opener in 1994, a couple of games between these teams almost unleash the same rhythm. This remains the period when the Chargers drove to their lone Super Bowl. The game set the pace when the Charge came from 24-6 down. Thanks to the likes of Stanley Richard who dropped an interception of ninety-nine years to score prior to the halftime. While John Elway fumbled in the last second, the Chargers won the game when Junior Seau recovered. The game will feature new coaches with Anthony Lynn for the Charges and Vance Joseph for the Broncos. The winner of the game can be determined with the help of an old storyline. What team will win at the line of scrimmage? On the defensive line, the Broncos will introduce four new starters. This includes Menelik Warson and Garrett Bolles. This means that the Broncos will make it difficult for the Chargers pass rushers such as Melvin Ingram and Joey Bosa.

NFL Preseason 2017 Week 4: Denver Broncos vs Arizona Cardinals on Thursday, August 31, 9:00 PM, Sports Authority Field@Mile High

Broncos defeat Cardinals 30-2 in final preseason game. The Denver Broncos tripled the Arizona Cardinals in their pre-season finale with 30-2 win. This denotes Denver’s 1st un-defeated preseason since the year 2015. In the wake of beating a couple of early struggles in the 1st half, quarter-back K. Sloter brought his A game. His touch-down pass to tight-end S. Scheu has made it a 30-2 win.

QB B. McManus field goal, took Denver to a 20-2 lead in-to the 2nd half. Denver will later get the ball to begin the 3rd quarter. The Denver Broncos new kid on the block defense D. Thomas captured a pass close to the mid-field and turned on the opponents, returning the ball fifty eight yards for a score. K. Sloter gave a strong performance on his 2nd drive while enabling his teammates to be within field-goal-range before Jordan dropped a pass on 3rd touch-down.

With a strong defense and fight put on by the Cardinals the end results could not be avoided. They had to settle for a 30-2 defeat from the Broncos who carried the day.

NFL Preseason 2017 Week 3: Denver Broncos vs Green Bay Packers on Saturday, August 26, 9:00 PM, Sports Authority Field@Mile High

The Denver Broncos defeated the Green Bay Packers by a score of 20-17 in Denver in the third preseason game for both teams. Green Bay got off to a quick start in the first quarter, first with a Mason Crosby field goal, then with a drive culminating in a 2 yard touchdown run by running back Ty Montgomery. Notably, second year Green Bay safety Kentrell Brice intercepted a pass by Denver quarterback Trevor Siemian and returned it 42 yards. Denver answered back with a 16 yard touchdown run by C.J. Anderson to make the score 10-7. The second quarter was less action packed, with only a Denver field goal by Brandon McManus tying the game. Heading into the locker room for halftime, the score was 10-10.

Denver took their first lead of the game in the third quarter via another Brandon McManus field goal, and extended that lead when undrafted rookie quarterback Kyle Sloter found fellow rookie Hunter Sharp for a 21 yard touchdown pass to make the game 20-10. Green Bay would make the game closer in the fourth quarter, as backup quarterback Brett Hundley scrambled into the end zone from 6 yards out to cut the Denver lead down to 3. But Green Bay was unable to score again, and Denver emerged victorious by a 20-17 margin.

NFL Preseason 2017 Week 2: Denver Broncos at San Francisco 49ers on Saturday, August 19, 10:00 PM, Levis Stadium

The Denver Broncos defeated the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 33-14 in San Francisco in the second preseason game for both teams. Denver struck first, with running back C.J. Anderson running in a 1 yard touchdown to put the Broncos up 7-0 in the first quarter. The Broncos continued to build their lead in the second quarter, first with a Brandon McManus field goals, then with a 19 pass by quarterback Trevor Siemian to wide receiver Jordan Taylor to make the score 20-0. Meanwhile, the 49ers under quarterback Brian Hoyer were unable to score any points, in part because of a Hoyer interception. Going into halftime, the 49ers had been held scoreless.

The 49ers got on the scoreboard with the first drive of the half, as rookie quarterback C.J. Beathard found a fellow rookie, tight end George Kittle for a 29 yard touchdown reception. Denver answered back with another McManus field goal to extend their lead to 23-7. The fourth quarter saw the Broncoes score again via yet another McManus field goal, followed by a 20 yard touchdown run by running back Juwan Thompson to put the game all but out of reach. A rare bright spot for the 49ers was undrafted rookie return man Victor Boldin Jr. taking the ensuing kickoff 108 yards for a touchdown. However, that was the last scoring in the game, and the final score was 33-14 in favor of the Broncos.

NFL Preseason 2017 Week 1: Denver Broncos at Chicago Bears on Thursday, August 10, 8:00 PM, Soldier Field

One look at the game where Denver Broncos played against Chicago Bears could leave you astonished. So many chances on each side were spectacular and the crowd really enjoyed. More precisely, the fans of Denver Broncos enjoyed much more, because their team won 24 to 17 against the Bears. Some crucial players definitely won the game and their presence was more than helpful for the Broncos. One of them is De’Angelo Henderson who had an amazing 41-yard run with a great touchdown.

His performance was the best in this game. Besides Henderson, other Broncos’ players like Orion Stewart and Shelby Harris were helpful for the team. They pushed the defensive line a little bit forward and that was the key point of this exciting win. On the other side, we have to mention Mitch Trubisky who was the main player for the Bears.

His spikes, drops and passes were really good, but not good enough to save the Bears from defeat. This time, the energy was on the side of the playful Denver Broncos. They simply showed more passion in crucial moments. More running, more passes and more touchdowns gave them the opportunity to celebrate at the end of the game.
