NFL 2017 Week 17: Baltimore Ravens vs Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, December 31, 1:00 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

Defense from the Ravens took the field first. Jeremy hill on the second down rushed up the middle for a first down. Hill is stopped proceeding the ensuing play after a gain of one yard. Andy Dalton on the second down is made to throw it away while Za’Darius Smith gets the sack making the Bengals punt. The muffed punt is recovered at the 36-yard line by Michael Campanaro. West rushes for a first down and makes it after Dre Kirkpatrick misses the defensive holding. Flacco scrambles to the left after a one-yard gain to find a 12-yard gain for Danny Woodhead. Another first down is made when Flacco finds Woodhead on the second and 10.

In the second half, on first down, for two yards Campanaro takes a handoff. James Hurst on the second down is called for false start. Flacco’s pass on the ensuing play is intercepted by Nick vigil after a bobble by West. On third and sixth Baltimore get a first down after a pass intended for Maclin is intercepted and William Jackson is called for pass interference. On third down, Flacco’s pass is not complete, and Justin Tucker pins 25yard field goal to end the play 20-0 lead by Ravens.

NFL 2017 Week 16: Baltimore Ravens vs Indianapolis Colts on Saturday, December 23, 4:30 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

The Baltimore Ravens managed to hold off the Indianapolis Colts to a close 23-16 final score, with the Ravens’ quarterback Joe Flacco connecting for two touchdowns and an impressive 237 yards. The game was only sealed with less than 2 minutes on the clock (1.38) when Maurice Andy managed to intercept a fourth down pass intended for T.Y Hilton. The Ravens led all through, but were ran close by the Colts who came to within three in the third quarter at 16-13, before Ravens’ Joe Flacco threw a four-yard touchdown pass to Williams Maxx to secure the victory.

This win sees the Ravens move up to fifth in the AFC, ahead of the Buffalo Bills and the Tennessee Titans. The game wasn’t expected to be this tight, with the Colts having a measly record of 3-11. The Ravens made hard work of it, and Joe Flacco could be seen to be too careful with the ball. However, they did just enough in this encounter, with the Colts’ valiant efforts being led by Adam Vinatieri who kicked three field goals and quarterback Jacoby Brissett who completed only 16 of 33 passes. The Ravens move forward as they inch towards a playoff berth, but the season is over for the Colts, who once again came up short in a close encounter.

NFL 2017 Week 15: Baltimore Ravens at Cleveland Browns on Sunday, December 17, 1:00 PM, FirstEnergy Stadium

The Browns had no chance against the Ravens as they lost yet another game in their winless season. Joe Flacco almost threw for 300 yards, and the team ran for 70 yards. The Browns had Deshone Kizer on the field throwing the ball, and he threw two interceptions that made the offense look even worse than it already has. Josh Gordon was on the field for the Browns, but he was largely ineffective.

The Ravens showed that they are getting good at the right time, and they are making a push to perhaps get into the playoffs and make some noise. Joe Flacco has improved a lot this season as he has recovered from injury, and he is getting in the right groove at the right time for his team to make the playoffs. The Browns could go winless this season, and their organization looks completely inept when losing games like this 27-10.

NFL 2017 Week 14: Baltimore Ravens at Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, December 10, 8:30 PM, Heinz Field

The rivalry between Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers is considered one of the greatest within the National Football League (NFL). It started way back in the 2000s. The two teams belong to the American Football Conference (AFC) North division. For close to 20 years, the two teams have been meeting at least twice yearly for the divisional supremacy. Both teams have been known for fielding tough and hard-hitting defensive squads. The Steelers held off the Ravens in a thrilling game played the last NFL gameday. The game ended 39-38 in favor of the Steelers. Many people will argue that the Steelers won this game for Ryan Shazier (their injured star). Whichever the case, this win enabled the Steelers to wrap up the divisional contest.

The Steelers defense managed to overcome a sloppy evening to stop the Ravens’ last-minute insurgence. With just 42 seconds left, Chris Boswell made an impressive 46-yard field goal. Going into the fourth quarter, the Steelers were trailing the Ravens by 11 points. This victory was the eight straight one for the Steelers and gave them a third divisional title in 4 years. This was the highest-scoring game in their rivalry. Roethlisberger also achieved his third 500-yard throw when he threw 506 yards. The divisional title was the second consecutive one for the Steelers and it was the first time the Steelers swept the Ravens since 2008.

NFL 2017 Week 13: Baltimore Ravens vs Detroit Lions on Sunday, December 03, 1:00 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

The amazing defense of the Ravens brought tons of opportunities that the team used in defeating the opponent. The Ravens’ offense also helped the team in winning the game against the Lions. Joe Flacco had 2 touchdowns and ran for a space of two hundred and sixty-nine. The Ravens were able to make use of three opportunities to defeat the Lions at 44-20. In the first half of the matche, Joe was able to join team members to help the Ravens lead at 20-0. In the 4th quarter of the match, Joe also had three strong opportunities that help the Ravens lead their opponent.

The defense of the Ravens has been the power house of success in the match against the Lions. Records have shown that Joe was moved from the position of twenty-three to thirty-six. Alex Collins had two scores and ran for a space of seventy-five yards. This helped the Ravens maintain three consecutive wins with the match against the Lions being outstanding. Matthew Stafford was able to make around twenty successful passes in the second quarter of the game. The performance of players on the side of the Ravens remain great throughout the match.

NFL 2017 Week 12: Baltimore Ravens vs Houston Texans on Monday, November 27, 8:30 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

It remained the legs of Justin Tucker and the defense to bring a crucial win for the team. This is because the offense of the Ravens struggled to get the ball across and almost every time gets booed by the crowd when playing against the Texans. This remains the scenario for the Ravens at the moment in the NFL games. The Ravens were able to orchestrate two turnovers in the closing five minutes with the match undecisive. This helped the Ravens maintained a 23-16 win over the Houston Texans. When Terrell Suggs of the Ravens beat Kendal Lamm the Texans trained by 4 points.

The quarterback Tom Savage was also sacked with C.J during the process. To make a seven point game, Tucker was able to convert his 3rd field goal. With an interception on the ensuing end, Anthony Levine Sr, the defensive back of the Ravens was able to finish the Texans comfortably. For the AFC’s second wild-card and sixth seed spot, the Ravens have improved and jumped the Buffalo Bills. Joe Flacco the quarterback of the Ravens was able to finish with twenty out of thirty-two for one hundred and forty-one yards. In a nutshell, the Ravens had the win after the final whistle.

NFL 2017 Week 11: Baltimore Ravens at Green Bay Packers on Sunday, November 19, 1:00 PM, Lambeau Field

The Baltimore Ravens vs. Green Bay Packers game develops different thoughts to the audience because it was a setup game where the Ravens needed to set the pace for the rest of the game to see them a shot in the AFC wild card. The Ravens were highly determined, and the efforts to be accorded in the match was to overcome all the possible challenges for the sake of the success of the team. The team took advantage of the fact that the Packers were without Aaron Rodgers who is among the best players on the team. The key weaknesses that the Ravens sought to exploit include the fact that the Packers team suffered some injuries.

However, the Packers dedicated efforts regardless of the challenges and the incorporation of a Hundley a was a crucial strategy to help according to the team success. Despite the efforts, it is notable that Raven strategically planned to base a strong defense team which sets a critical challenge to the success of the Ravens. The strengths of the Ravens for the play includes the Corners and thus made so hard for the Green Bay Packers to make any success in the game. Although the packers attempted scoring in the first few minutes by Jimmy, the entire game was set to intense hardship, and they failed to achieve success.

NFL 2017 Week 9: Baltimore Ravens at Tennessee Titans on Sunday, November 05, 1:00 PM, Nissan Stadium

The Titans received their 3rd straight victory after coming off a bye week. The Titans had a victory over the Ravens by 23-20 at the Nissan Stadium. Mariota had two touchdowns and threw for around two hundred and eighteen yards. While moving to the top of the AFC South positions, the Titans maintained 5-3. Kevin went on to add another 2 more interceptions. This made Kelvin’s season to round up to a total of 6 leading the NFL. When Marcus Mariota strikes Rishard Matthews, the Titans capitalize after Kelvin’s first interception.

This occurs for a sixteen-yard touchdown by Mariota helping the Titans to move forward with a 10-7 lead. To lead the Titans on the victory drive late, Mariota moved pass a 4th quarter interception. For an eleven yard touchdown, Marcus Mariota was able to connect with Eric Decker. This helped to put the Titans in a lead of 23-13 with just 4 minutes in the match. The first touchdown catch of Decker really helped the Titans to move up in the game. Since week 2, Corey Davis became active for the first time again. Davis caught 2 unique passes for twenty-eight yards. While expecting next week match against the Bengals to be amazing, the Titans have had three straight wins.

NFL 2017 Week 8: Baltimore Ravens vs Miami Dolphins on Thursday, October 26, 8:25 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

The Miami Dolphins recently traveled to meet with Baltimore Ravens in a match that proved embarrassing for them. Apart from the score sheet the game had some memorable moments that fans will remember for a long time with some not being so pleasant like when Baltimore’s quarterback had to leave the pitch bleeding. He was hit by one of the opponents when making an unexpected run after his helmet flew off his head. Even without their star player, the team managed to return two interceptions for touchdowns. This proved harder for the Dolphins to overcome even with their performance record of three consecutive wins in the games before this one.

Even with the opposition and losing one of their best players, Baltimore increased the gap to 7-0 and got additional 48 and 55 yard wins in the second quarter. The addition came when a Dolphins player missed the ball from 50 yards. At 14 minutes, Baltimore snatched another opportunity when they snatched a poorly thrown ball for the opponents and returned it for touchdown. They didn’t stop at that and went on to try for another score, which led to some of players exchanging shoves and punches. With all the squabbles, the wins, the injuries as well as a cat running into the field in the fourth quarter, the game was definitely entertaining for the fans.

NFL 2017 Week 7: Baltimore Ravens at Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, October 22, 1:00 PM, U.S. Bank Stadium

The Baltimore Ravens were not able to move the ball against the Minnesota Vikings until the Vikings took their feet off the gas peddle. The Ravens were not able to utilize a veteran tight end like Benjamin Watson in the game. Their young running back Collins was able to get some significant yardage, but it was largely during garbage time within the game itself. People would point to the fact that the Ravens could have done better in the game since they won the turnover differential, but the truth of the matter is that the Vikings did well in the game because they focused on something like time of possession and the field position game.

You will continue to see the growth of the relationship between quarterback Case Keenum and tight end Kyle Rudolph. Rudolph also became a security blanket for Teddy Bridgewater during his time as the starting quarterback for the Vikings. It did become clear that although the Vikings won the game that the Ravens had an easier time with the Vikings receivers, because of the fact that Stefon Diggs did not appear in the game. The Ravens wide receiver corps truly appears to be missing a guy that goes across the middle like Anquan Boldin, that fact was quite prevalent in this game against the Vikings.

NFL 2017 Week 6: Baltimore Ravens vs Chicago Bears on Sunday, October 15, 1:00 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

With over 5 minutes to play, it happened that the Baltimore Ravens came from eleven points down and delayed the inevitable. A forty-yard field goal emanates from Connor Barth the Chicago Bears kicker with only over 2 minutes remaining in overtime. This made the Baltimore Ravens lose by 27-24 at M&T Bank Stadium. Even with additional return touchdowns, the Baltimore Ravens dropped to 3-3. This includes a seventy-seven-yard orchestrated by Michael Campanaro. With 1:37 to go, Nick Boyle’s 2 point conversion catch draw the march. With a fifty-three-yard run, Jordan Howard, Bears running back gave the match decisive points, after a break from a defensive action by Eric Weddle. The Ravens had one overtime possession after struggling all day offensively.

Every struggle of the Ravens did not bring them any goal yet. On Sunday, the Ravens allowed a key opportunity dropped from their hands. The mistakes from the Ravens enabled the Bears to arranged 2 scores. On three separate occasions, the Ravens turned the ball over. This helped Adrian Amos, a Baltimore native returned an interception at ninety-yards. The touchdown of Amos helped the Bears lead by a 24-13. The clear winner of the game is the Bears both offensively and defensively.

NFL 2017 Week 5: Baltimore Ravens at Oakland Raiders on Sunday, October 08, 4:05 PM, Oakland Coliseum

On Sunday, the quarterback of Ravens responded to the call. While wearing the Oakland Raiders down up front, the quarterback played a mistake-free football. Without any interception, Joe Flacco completed his streak of ten games and the Ravens the attack to overcome the pressure against the Oakland Raiders and won at 30-17. The Ravens are back in a first-place tie in the AFC North with the Pittsburg Steelers’ home loss to the Jaguars. Having two road wins this season, they now broker their two-match losing mysteries. For 22 yards, Flacco finished nineteen of twenty-six passes.

The Raven went for two touchdowns and 143 yards. The Raven’s defense scored on a forty-seven return by Jimmy Smith. In the first half, the Ravens had two hundred and forty-one yards of offense. The Ravens scored on 3 of their 4 possessions after they did not turn the ball over. For the third quarter, the Ravens become highly conserved on their premier two drives. While quickly punting the back to the Raiders, the Ravens unleashed three times. Nevertheless, when EJ Manuel started for the injured Carr, the Ravens suffered back what they tried earlier.

NFL 2017 Week 4: Baltimore Ravens vs Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, October 01, 1:00 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Baltimore Ravens, 26-9, in what proved to be another game in the Ravens’ recent slump. Baltimore has lost its past two games after beginning the season 2-0, and this game continued the trend. Ravens quarterback and one-time Super Bowl winner Joe Flacco threw one touchdown and two interceptions in a game that was never really much in doubt. Flacco has had one of the lowest quarterback ratings in the league over those past two losses. The Ravens had three costly turnovers as well. Ben Roethlisberger and the Pittsburgh Steelers played much better.

Roethlisberger only threw one interception, and his supporting cast helped carry him. Famed running back Leveon Bell, who had struggled earlier in the season, ran for 144 yards and two touchdowns. The Steelers defense helped hold the Ravens on multiple occasions, including on a drive in the third quarter where the Ravens had to sacrifice good field position for a field goal. This rivalry game will help determine the makeup of the AFC North. The Steelers are 3-1 and will likely cruise over division rivals Cincinnati and Cleveland, while the Ravens will need some help to capture the division and possibly make the playoffs.

NFL 2017 Week 3: Baltimore Ravens at Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, September 24, 9:30 AM, Wembley Stadium

The previously undefeated Baltimore Ravens was humiliated in London by Jacksonville in shocking fashion. The domination of the Jaguars occurred on both sides of the ball. For the NFL, The Jaguars may be called the Dr. JekyII. This is because the Jaguars appear to be two different teams playing a single group. In the past three weeks, the Jaguars have changed their game and looking strong. The Jaguars appeared like a mess in their home opener against the Titans after laying the smack down on the Texans in Week 1. The match this time made the Jaguars better than anticipated in week 1.

The defense and offense of the Jaguars played in the same fashion. With a 44-7 win, this is the best game that the Jaguars have played for several years. Blake Bortles should be given a lot of credit in the quarterback for this win. All through the day, Blake remained strong. The touch passes of Blake remains amazing and beautiful. In this week’s gameplan, Nate Hackett the offensive coordinator put more on Bortles and the schedule went well. Bortles dropped a beautiful pass that touched down to Margise Lee without looking back. Bortles remained offensive through the days. The truth is that the Jaguars deserve to win the game.

NFL 2017 Week 2: Baltimore Ravens vs Cleveland Browns on Sunday, September 17, 1:00 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

The Baltimore Ravens week two games held on 17 the September against the known Cleveland Brown went well and in a high defense. During the first half, the Browns started with a 25-yard line, and Crowell runs for the three yards on its first-down, and he had no gain on the second-down. There was a delay in penalty and the third-down played by DeShone was incomplete. The Ravens later started their 28-yard line where Terrance West lost in one yard during the first- down and on the second-down Flacco Joe finds the ever-active Maclin Jeremy for a gain of 19 yards.

However, Maclin was injured on his first play, and the first-down Flacco finds Watson Benjamin to get a 13 yard for Ravens. However, on the First-down Terrance rushes to get a two yard. During the first half, Baltimore Ravens plays a legit defense and gets two sacks, a forced fumble, and two interceptions. On the second half, the team manages to start with a yard line of 25 that leads to their success. The final scores show a win for Ravens with 24 while Cleveland’s managed to get 10.

NFL 2017 Week 1: Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, September 10, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

Cincinnati Bengals started the season with an ugly loss to Baltimore Ravens 20-0. Baltimore’s defense was intact. They had two interceptions, three sacks and they had allowed a 58-yard passing only during the first half. Joe Flaccco looked very active in the game, his stats line was 9 for 14, 121 yards and a touchdown. The offensive line was organized and pressed on the game. Baltimore had 29 total runs play on the offensive, and 14 of them were running plays. Ryan Jensen struggled during the first-half; he was called for two penalties.

The Raven had already committed five penalties during the first half period. A.J. Green another player who used to be in the list of spectacular performers he stood out brilliant. He was Bengal’s leading receiver in catches five in total and 74-yards. It was Vigil’s first start at outside linebacker for Bengals, he played an impressive game. He had 9 total tackles and an excellent interception of Joe Flacco. He showed that he was capable of fill that position for the Bengals. Giovania Benard was outstanding he was a top player on the offense; his solo catch went for 39 yards, while he had a 23-yard carry to his name. On just eight touches he had 79 combined yards.

NFL Preseason 2017 Week 4: Baltimore Ravens at New Orleans Saints on Thursday, August 31, 8:00 PM, Mercedes-Benz Superdome

Both teams went head to head in a final preseason exhibition match. The end result was a very close victory for the Ravens in a 14-13 win. Baltimore gained a total of 226 yards and New Orleans gaining 305 yards with both teams committing 2 turnovers in the game. New Orleans led the game in passing which came from QB Chase Daniel with 103 yards and 1 interception. Baltimore led the game in rushing with RB Bobby Rainy gaining 42 yards in 9 carries and also the Ravens also led the game in receiving yards with WR Chris Matthews gaining 66 yards in 3 receptions.

Baltimore gained the first touchdown of the game with a 1 yard pass from QB Ryan Mallett to WR Chris Moore in the early goings of the game. In the second quarter Baltimore gained another touchdown with a 2 yard rush from Bobby Rainey as well as the Saints gaining a touchdown with a 16 yard pass from QB Chase Daniel to WR Josh Hill. In the third quarter the Saints made a 28 yard field goal and again in the fourth quarter with a 48 yard field goal by kicker Wil Lutz that still wouldn’t be enough for the saints to beat the ravens.

NFL Preseason 2017 Week 3: Baltimore Ravens vs Buffalo Bills on Saturday, August 26, 7:00 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

Even though the Saturday’s game was not badly off, I feel that the Baltimore side did not showcase sufficient effort typical of a third preseason game. Such a game is supposed to be a dress rehearsal as the start of the season approaches. Harbaugh was especially unable to enforce this rehearsal state of mind considering that Joe Flacco will not be available until the regular season. The Ravens were also missing key players among them, Danny Woodhead, Breshad Perriman not forgetting Ronnie Stanley meaning that a true dress rehearsal was not going to be possible in the first place.

The Bills, on the other hand, had an upper hand, the intentionally positioned most club’s starters throughout the first half. As a result of this properly calculated move, the Bills managed 94 passing yards as well as 15 rushing yard. The Baltimore backups on the other hand finally surrendered a touch down after numerous spirited quick stops.

Ravens have also suffered the biggest number of injuries in comparison to any other club this season. They lost Tavon and Dennis even before the training camp. Other key players that have also been lost for the season include: Keneth Dixon, Nico Siragusa as well as Crockett Gillmore. I can, therefore, conclude that even though they did bring up the expected fight in this game their position is understandable. Their defense therefore dominated and as a result, they were given the rest of Saturday night off.

NFL Preseason 2017 Week 2: Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins on Thursday, August 17, 7:00 PM, Hard Rock Stadium

Jay Cutler playing for Miami this season is going to be fun but it worries me the offensive line behind him that blocks for Jay Cutler. Thursday night loss to the Ravens was Cutler’s grand unveiling to Miami Dolphins though he didn’t get to play to his capacity he showed how good he really is and gave a lot of hope in coming days.

Sam young was the most outstanding and effective defender for the Ravens he is a reserve and was not likely to feature that night but due to the injury that the star player Ja’ wuan James had sustained, Sam young was given the starting spot. Sam young is a Dolphins player in case you were wondering.

Sam Young was not good at all he committed several mistakes including holding penalties and also erased an offense yard.

He was not the only one who struggled. Dolphins’ game was shaky and the players lack push and energy they committed several errors in front and the back. The head coach addressed some of the error his team made:

They committed penalties and should have been avoided, backup snapper Winston fired balls back this caused problems because he did that before most of the team mates were not ready. But as the game progressed they improved their play.

NFL Preseason 2017 Week 1: Baltimore Ravens vs Washington Redskins on Thursday, August 10, 7:30 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

There is no other action that people had been looking forward more than the action between these two giants. We all understand the lots of changes that the Ravens had to undergo prior the great battle which we might even safely term them whole as injuries; they lost Kenneth Dixon, Dennis Pitta, Crockett Gilmore, and Tavon Young. One other team player, Joe Flacco was suffering a back injury.

The magic here came from Jamison Crowder’s 85-yard punt return that made the Washington Redskins beat Baltimore 16-10 and this was the team’s third win. Baltimore’s Breshad Perriman was the man that made the game’s decision at last when he made a 23-yard touchdown catch that made the team to lead. It was also one catchy game full of twists and we wish luck to each team ahead.
