The Atlanta Falcons won after beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 24-21, in the last matches. The quarterback Brett Hundley had played in the unprofessional tone in the matches with Detroit Lions, Carolina Panthers, and the Vikings. But in this match, he broke all the charts with his performance.

The Green Bay Packers had a golden chance and they cracked it with a decent lead by winning over the Tampa. On the run, Williams had a messy day of his career while rushing for 113 yards on his 21st carries with his third touchdown of this season. In this season, it is has to find a team leading with 28-3 and 17-0 and later lost the match.

They are losers of four straight games and the season has proved to be a very bad one if they can barely beat the already Struggling Tampa Bay.The Dolphins made terrible mistakes that saw them penalized with 17 penalties for 123 yards. The question is how are they going to beat the Patriots and Chiefs who are among the teams they are to face with only six weeks left in this season.

The Dolphins have as many losses as they did in the previous year. The starting quarterback Jay Cutler, unfortunately, got knocked out of the game in first half. Jay Culter who threw three interceptions in the first half was evaluated to have concussion, and this may keep him out for the remaining games. At first, Dolphins defense was commendable, but the way they suddenly melted their defense was particularly very frustrating. The team will go next Sunday to New England a place they haven’t won a single match since 2008. The big question is, how are they going to pretend to manage to compete with the Patriots who have dominated the division for 14 good seasons? It’s game over for Dolphins!

The Bucs thought they could win that shootout, but Jameis Winston got hurt during the game. The Bucs still do not trust their kicking game. You have to be able to find a reliable kicker, but it was obvious during the Arizona game that the slightest amount of penetration would scare Tampa Bay’s kicker.

Troy Niklas is going to become a more crucial player in the Cardinals offense, as we saw with the fact that he caught a touchdown pass in this game. NFL 2016 Week 13: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Diego Chargers on Sunday, December 04, 4:25 PM, Qualcomm Stadium

It has been noted that Tampa Bay Buccaneers have been playing the best football this season with the aim of extending their winning streak in four games including the match they had to play with San Diego Chargers. For them, this meant to contain the NFL number 4 scoring offensive and number 5 passing game with the help of Philip Rivers, their quarterback. Phillip was able to have more than 20 touchdowns in specific he had 23 touchdowns though he missed top targets this year. Many fans view him as a guy who is very accurate, has an incredible touch, a good player and has strong nails.

Tampa Bay was alive for a one final game of South-leading Atlanta and a half-game which was behind Washington. San Diego, on the other hand, was in a tougher position as they were at the bottom of AFC West. The Bucs have only won while in San Diego only once which was in 1996 with a score of 25-27. As years go by, the Bucs are getting better though they face a series of bumps in the road.

According to Mike Evans, he sees the Bucs heading in the right direction as they continue to their season as they are tied with Atlanta Falcons after winning four straight games consecutively. In a match that was played by Bucs and San Diego Chargers this weekend, the Bucs were able to defeat the Charges with a win of 28-21 which proved that in deed the Bucs are heading in the right direct and are becoming better.

NFL 2016 Week 12: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, November 27, 4:05 PM, Raymond James Stadium

In the NFL match that held in Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, Florida, between Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawks, Buccaneers won Seahawks 14-5. It all began with a landing pass between Jameis Winston and Mike Evans. Tampa Bay forced three turnovers and rejuvenated its defense by shutting down Seahawks’ Wilson, thereby making it very difficult for Seahawks’ troops to get through. In the final minute of the opening half, Wilson drove his team to the field-goal range but Verner, Tampa Bay’s cornerback, successfully stopped the Seattle Seahawks.

Verner had lost his biggest fan, his father last Friday, but knowing that his father’s greatest desire was for him to play in the game, he did not hold back. Buccaneers win can be largely attributed to Verner in the game; he was indeed the cornerstone of the game. Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Seattle Seahawk are two champions that have interesting histories of play in the NFL, winning each other back to back. The last match was held in 2013 in Seattle. It only serves right that Bucs won this season’s match since it is played in their home.

NFL 2016 Week 11: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, November 20, 1:00 PM, Arrowhead Stadium

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers met the Kansas City Chiefs on November 20, 2016, at the Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. The Chiefs took a hard loss against the Bucs on their home turf. The question is: what went wrong in Sunday’s game? There was a lot of buzzes blaming the Chiefs coach, Andy Reid, around the play calling in the red zone. The timing, efficiency, and planning were a few things that were mentioned lacking in execution. But it was not just about execution. There were three important starters sidelined during the game. Dee Ford, linebacker, was nursing a hamstring injury and unavailable for the second half. And it would have been hard to miss the absence of Jeremy Maclin, receiver, and Marcus Peters, cornerback, from the outset of the game.

But the biggest bungle of the night was with Alex Smith, quarterback, leading up the charge. It was Smith’s pass to the end zone that allowed Chris Conte, safety, to intercept and return 53 yards for the game. Needless to say, this season is unpredictable at best. The Chiefs need to get their heads on straight, as they are on the cusp to the postseason. If this game was any indication, this season will be a tough one.

NFL 2016 Week 10: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Chicago Bears on Sunday, November 13, 1:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

Buccaneers were seen to be in complete form to defeat Bears this time with score 36-10. And yes, they had their best performance this time against Chicago Bears. It seems like Buccaneers had learnt a lot from their last defeats from Raiders and the Falcons where they surrendered 8 explosive pass plays in each game. So, they used it as a lesson and measuring stick this time while playing against Bears.

Jude Barimah said that their team players were always at the right spot in the game, so even there were bunch of attacks on the players, but we were successful to score. He said that this week his team was very aggressive, every player played very well and they practiced all along. This was the reason of their victory over Bears this year. Another player from the team; Smith said when the team players covered well and the quarterback had to hold ball and run, they got him on the move, get him on the ground and they had couple of turnovers that time. Ayers said the performance of Grimes was outstanding during the game. He finished the game with 1.5 sacks. That thing made Jay to hold the ball for longer time and the team was able to capitalize.

NFL 2016 Week 9: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, November 03, 7:25 PM, Raymond James Stadium

Last week on Thursday we watched a thriller match that saw the Atlanta Falcons clinching victory against Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The 43-28 win in favor of the Falcons was crucial as it helped them take a sweet revenge and perfectly snap a two-game losing streak. Atlanta Falcons’ quarterback Matt Ryan exhibited exceptional performance during the game; a move that saw him making four touchdown passes to assist in securing the win. Besides, he actually made 344 yards to complete his passes with an overall 73.5 percent.

On the other hand, Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston also threw three different touchdowns; unfortunately, they didn’t yield any scores. Meanwhile, Atlanta’s Julio Jones who is known to be a wide receiver was quick to catch eight passes and proceeded to make 111 yards in the match.

Was this win important for the Falcons? Indeed yes. Apparently, the Falcons can now boast of a 1.5-game lead over the New Orleans under the NFC South. Besides, they were able to set a 6-3 record, a move that gives them a reason to enjoy the moment before settling to meet their other rival in Philadelphia. Meanwhile, the Buccaneers are still holding on and hoping that Winston will display a more stellar performance against the Falcons when they clash again. This was after Winston displayed masterful performance when the two teams met in week 1 leading to a 31-24 win against the Falcons.

NFL 2016 Week 8: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Oakland Raiders on Sunday, October 30, 12:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

The Oakland Raiders and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers square off in one sensational and captivating match. The Raiders asserted they were not complacent even after their powerful start. The Raiders started the game on a high momentum quickly asserting their dominance early in the match. The match came down to what team has a better defense and though the Raider’s defense was not strong, their offense was on point.

One aspect that has always made the Raiders victorious is their strong defense over the years. The Raiders offense took over the match and the Buccaneers could not overpower them. Raiders continue that momentum to the upcoming matches they will dominate all other teams. These two great teams gave fans the match of a life time. Though the Buccaneers lost they did not go down without a fight and Raiders had to defend themselves against Buccaneers competitive offense. Buccaneers were also prepared and played a fierce match.

However, they were unable to beat the Raiders. Raiders came out victorious. We can only wait to see more from these powerful teams in the upcoming matches.

NFL 2016 Week 7: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, October 23, 4:05 PM, Levis Stadium

The San Francisco 49ers players were allowing their opponents; the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to make 513 yards. The 49ers suffered a humiliating defeat of 34-17 that left them bruised; that was actually their 6th straight loss in the NFL league this season. It is the high time the team manager should work on the defensive systems of his boys. There were high odds that these buddies would recover from their previous defeats; but that was not the case.

If you watched the game you would clearly see that the hosts were completely lost in the game. They were outscored on the ground and also in the air. They should have tried to at least work on one of the skills but their skills were deprived.

There some cries from the fans that the 49ers’s players should be changed because they are completely not doing their best. On the other side the Buccaneers were maximizing any mistake from the hosts. Their tactics worked remarkably beyond the expectations of the fans. They gave the audience a match experience that would still ring in their minds for the next few days.

NFL 2016 Week 5: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers on Monday, October 10, 8:30 PM, Bank of America Stadium

It doesn’t look like the Carolina Panthers will be making a return trip to the Super Bowl. Carolina dropped to 1-4 after a nail-biting loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last Sunday by the score of 17-14. The win helped bring Tampa Bay’s record to 2-3. Despite being led by back quarterback, Derek Anderson, the Panthers were still in the game up to the very end. Simple mistakes caused the loss for the reigning NFC champs.

Most of the Panther’s mistakes were on special teams. Graham Kano, the Panthers kicker, missed a field goal. Adding to Carolina’s special team’s woes was Ted Ginn’s muffed punt. Derek Anderson also threw an interception in the end zone in the 4th quarter that deflated the team.

No player stood out for the Tampa Bay offense. The Buc’s offensive unit tallied 300 yards total. The Jameis Winston-led unit went 5-16 on 3rd down conversions. Tampa Bay took advantage of the opportunities that they were given and eeked out a 17-14 win in the end. Meanwhile, the Panthers are certainly looking forward to the return of the league MVP, Cam Newton. Although, at 1-4, the Carolina has a slim chance of making the playoffs.

NFL 2016 Week 4: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Denver Broncos on Sunday, October 02, 4:05 PM, Raymond James Stadium

Despite the uninviting weather conditions, the Denver Broncos delivered a strong statement over their Tampa Bay opponents by flooring them 27-7.With just 6 over six minutes remaining on the clock, the game had to be halted for an hour 26 minutes as lightening crashed through the Raymond James Stadium. Looking at our statistics since 2000, only 1,153 teams have led by 20 points or more with less than 7 minutes remaining on the clock. Only one comeback has ever been witnessed in such a situation. Surprisingly that single exception happened at the same Raymond James Stadium about 13 years ago.

As much most of the Tampa fans wished this legendary performance repeated itself on Sunday 2nd October at the Raymond James Stadium, history did not repeat itself. When the game eventually resumed each team got one series before Paxton Lynch, Broncos quarterback finished off the big win. Patrick Smyth the Broncos head coach remained on the game sidelines for most of both games. Back during the historical 2003 game he was just a PR intern at Tampa Bay. After the game Smyth ushered Gary Kubaik the broncos head coach off the field as he headed to deliver a post-game press conference.

NFL 2016 Week 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, September 25, 4:05 PM, Raymond James Stadium

In this game, the Los Angeles Rams emerged victorious over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a 37-32 win at the Raymond James Stadium. The game was not exactly played under ideal conditions considering it had to be stopped after about two minutes, for approximately one hour ten minutes due to bad weather.

Overally, the Buccaneers played quite well and almost won the game within the last seconds but the Rams defended what turned out to be their first win on the road all year. Despite having the home crowd advantage, Buccaneers seemed uncomfortable and uncoordinated with their offense being obscured by the Ram defense. Ram’s offense applied effort only neccessary to beat Tampa scores, all factors that made the game ugly. However, a win is a win.

In their next game, the Rams face Arizona in the divisional game. Arizona is recently coming off a loss that was very brutal and they need to win their next game to stay relevant. The Rams, on the other hand, are riding on the glory of a win away from home, all factors at play awaiting the next game. The upcoming game will test emotions and the results may have major effects on the finality of the playoff.

NFL 2016 Week 2: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, September 18, 4:05 PM, University of Phoenix Stadium

The cardinals took away a 40-7 victory against the Buccaneers in their previous match. This grand victory restored the courage of the fans of the Cardinals. According to the fans of the Cardinals, their teams have bounced back into the competition with very tough defense and with a great team lineup. David Johnson and Larry Fitzgerald were on the waving flags for the Cardinal side. During the game, the Cardinals scored a complete touchdown off the interception of James Winston.

From the benches of the Cardinals were some new faces including Stunt, Humphrey and Veldheer made them pushed pass their opposite counterparts? Chris Conte was too slow to convert a chance into a goal which made Brown blow by his shoulder and directed the ball to safety.

Greater portion of the work was done by Deore Buccanno, who lung filled and rapidly pushed the ball to his partner. He slowed down the movement of his opponent by coming before him for a while so he couldn’t run to intercept the passed ball. The passed ball escaped the receiver and immediately Cooper grabbed the ball and quickly run to the opposing side.

Brandon Williams had played so well in recent matches where he made great interceptions to save his side.

NFL 2016 Week 1: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, September 11, 1:00 PM, Georgia Dome

The Falcons, while down by a touchdown, got the ball back after another Buccaneers field goal, but would only get a single first down before the Bucs closed out the game. The game, for the Falcons, was an attempt to try to move forward from a bad season and try to reach the playoffs after missing them for the last three seasons.

Jameis Winston went twenty-three for thirty-two, throwing for 281 yards, with four touchdowns, and one interception. Winston also was able to shake off an early interception that led to the Falcons taking a ten to three lead in the game and hooked up with Mike Evans (wide receiver), Charles Sims III (running back), and Brandon Myers and Austin Sefarian-Jenkins (both Sefarian-Jenkins and Meyers are tight ends).

Matt Ryan went twenty-seven for thirty-nine, throwing for 334 yards, with two touchdown passes, and zero interceptions in the game.

At the end of the first half, the Buccaneers were up seventeen to thirteen and would further their lead in the second half, even though they did not score a single point in the fourth quarter of the game. By the end of the first, the game was led by the Falcons ten to three. The Falcons would score in every quarter of the game, however, in the second and fourth only a field goal in each quarter. The second half of the game, the Buccaneers outscored the Falcons fourteen to eleven.

NFL Preseason 2016 Week 4: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Washington Redskins on Thursday, September 01, 7:30 PM, Raymond James Stadium

The Washington Redskins at Tampa Bay Buccaneers match was shifted due to the prediction of bad weather in Tampa Bay. To the happiness of the supporters, the game though was shifted turned out to be an exciting one. Washington Redskin outplayed Buccaneers in spite of landing a few hours ahead of the kick-off. Right from the first quarter the Buccaneers did not look solid as they fumbled five times. Despite the rain, the Washington managed to take the advantage and win the game by 20-13. The Washingtons were able to play a solid game with 245 rushing yards at the end of the game.

The 23-year-old Rob Kelly was impressive with 16 carries for 99 yards. However, Mike Glenon, the Bucs quarterback, had a difficult time as he could complete only 1 out of 5 passes in the first half. Ryan Griffin was successful in completing 23 of 38 passes with a touchdown and an interception. The Redskins’ scored first with a 47-yard field goal followed by a touchdown by Hopkins to give them a lead of 13-0. Tampa Bay finally opened their scoring with 50-yard field goal. Hopkins did not fail to nail the extra point to give the Redskins’ a lead of 20-3. However, Griffin came to the rescue and scored a 9-yard touchdown. Aguayo nailed the extra point to finish the game by 20-13.

NFL Preseason 2016 Week 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Cleveland Browns on Friday, August 26, 8:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

Friday night saw the Browns bag a 30-13 defeat to the Bay boys. With the home advantage, the Buccaneers utilized every opportunity they had to the maximum. The Browns had an average mid play that bore no goals at the end. They struggled in all fields of play to their hosts who seemed confident of winning the match.

Gordon Josh was always a threat to Grimes Brent since he is an idea machine. Josh had enough space to speed up between the reception of Grimes and Conte. Browns had started the game with a very fast pace but they had to keep changing their tactics. The game went a bit dull when Grimes left out of injury but Taylor, his replacement put equal effort as Brent.

Denver Broncos unleashed his full potential in defense and it shows he has good preparations and training for the season. Maybe for the Browns the season has not yet started but they might keep their slow game to the end. At one time, they seemed to take charge of the game but the psyche went down even before the fans enjoyed.

However, Tampa Bay boys should improve on their mid play game if they are to have a great attacking team. For Browns, I do not think that is their best team. The season might be full of positive surprises.

Yeldon and Bortles connected just to get a 14-yard score right in the first quarter. In the second, Bortles stroke a 24-yarder to the famous Allen Hurns who was in the back of the important end zone in just the second quarter of the game. However this game was predictive considering the history of these two teams. Having been beaten six consecutive times by Panthers, The possibility of Buccaneers winning this game were critically narrow. However as obviously expected, they tried their luck even under such conditions and managed to make a 10 score. Even with the missing Carolina Panthers players due to injuries, that did not deter them from doing what they do best. Both Bears and Buccaneers have game makers that are likely to brighten the scoreboard in a few. Buccaneers lost their game falling 26-20 to the Bears. Game critics think the game was still winnable. Buccaneers have not had much success in challenges their worth even with alterations in their offensive line. Tandy had performed extremely well at the start of the season recording three stops in two drives. He still has room for himself on the roster although his appearance was not much in the rest of the games. Buccaneers needed big plays and Charles Sims delivered.

The Bears win came in with a challenge. The second half of the game was on with constant rain. Jay Cutler was able to throw 130 yards. The disappointing Buccaneers were unable to overcome the other side. The alterations in the Tampa Bay offensive line that counted up to four of five however did not perform as much it was anticipated. One can say the same for the Bucs but more will always be anticipated from experienced players with exemplary previous performances while at their former teams.

Let’s talk about some highlights.

On Thursday night Case Keenum threw for 234 yards and did a pair of touchdowns with no interceptions. Rams made up 98 yards rushing the ground this game. They did a perfect job of taking on control on Buccaneers player Jameis Winston, do have to mention that they generally controlled the speed of the game there in.

On the opposite side Doug Martin also did a pretty good job for the Buccaneers. He made up rushing for 91 yards. Winston have managed to complete only 29 of his 50 passes for 363 yards, also mentioning all the touchdowns and only one interception. The New Orleans Saints beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24 – 17 thanks to Drew Brees who threw a pair of touchdown passes to one Marques Colston. This helped the Saints avoid a four game losing streak which also unfortunately put a dent in the hopes of the Buccaneers hopes of playoff spot. This was a great game for Drew Brees who once had seen Manning’s achievements hanged in a stadium and said that one day he had wanted to replicate that or even do better, well he has lived the dream.

NFL 2015 Week 13: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, December 06, 1:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

His last minute goal allowed the falcons to still have a chance in the race to winning the NFC playoffs. It was a 6- yards touchdown pass to Mike Evans.

Their well-known coach Lovie Smith was all smiles as he said that for this game he truly believes the team made a pact and refused to loose.

The Indianapolis Colts managed to beat Tampa Bay Buccaneers 25-12 in a match that was played at Lucas Oil Stadium, Indiana. Throughout the game Colts offensive consistently blitzed past the Bucs, it seems as if they were confident that the opponent’s guide was weak and could lose one-on-one face offs. Quarterback Jameis Winston was always under pressure in a way he never experienced throughout the season. When under pressure, he made things worse for his team by trying to spin and improvise a way out of the forwards.

Instead of keeping to the game’s original play, or even throwing the ball away so that the opponent’s don’t catch it. Those moves became more recurrent as the game progressed, as did wayward throws which eventually led to their loss. Other Buc offensive line players also didn’t perform well, allowing several pressures against them pass through easily. With their win, Colts now have recorded three straight wins in their league appearance, though they have still felt four places in Power Rankings. Such consistency is what the team needs to come top of their table this season. They are now tied with Houston Texans for first position in the division, though Colts are technically the favorite overall leaders after earlier beating their rivals in Week 5.

NFL 2015 Week 11: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, November 22, 1:00 PM, Lincoln Financial Field

The Eagles defense did not put up much of a fight in the game; now they have lost their last two games, They allowed over 500 yards of total offense, almost three hundred of which came on the ground. The Bucs, have won two straight and have pulled to .500. for the first time since they beat New Orleans in week two; they have a lot to celebrate after this big win As this is the first time the Bucs have won two games in a row in two years

Jameis Winston completed nineteen passes after 29 attempts, throwing for 246 yards, no interceptions, and five touchdowns. The five touchdowns he threw in the game, ties a rookie record. Winston threw touchdown passes to five different receivers, which ties another record, set by Matthew Stafford.

NFL 2015 Week 10: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, November 15, 1:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

The Dallas Cowboys traveled to Florida last weekend to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an NFC showdown. The Cowboys, led by backup quarterback Matt Cassell attempted to end their six game losing streak by wanting to run the football since their passing game is largely ineffective. The story ended up the same with Dallas losing to the Bucs 10-6 in a game where Jameis Winston, the rookie quarterback for Tampa scored with 54 seconds left in the game. The winning drive was a 9 play 56 yard drive which was capped off with a 1 yard touchdown run from Winston.

The Bucs were down in the game 6-3 when Winston scored by faking a handoff to Doug Martin and circled around to find himself all alone in the endzone. The Buccaneers win gives them a record of 4-5 to the Cowboy’s 2-7 dismal record.

The Cowboys did have a chance to win the game when they reached the Tampa Bay 44 yard line. Cassell attempted a pass in the endzone to Dez Bryant, but it was intercepted by safety Bradley McDougald. It appeared that Bryant was pushed in the back, but no pass interference call was given, and the game was over for the lowly Cowboys.

NFL 2015 Week 9: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New York Giants on Sunday, November 08, 4:05 PM, Raymond James Stadium

Struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell 18-32 to a well oiled New York Giants side at their own backyard. In the first quarter, the Giants took off with gusto to take it 10-6. Try as they could, the Bucs struggled to catch up with them, losing the second quarter 3-7. Realizing that they were actually buckling under the pressure of the Giants, the Bucs held off the Giants in the third quarter for long. However, they failed to break the resilient back line of the Giants, who soaked in all the pressure from the Bucs striking force before finally drawing 3-3 with them. In the last quarter, the Giants were no match for the Bucs, outwitting them 12-6 for a glorious victory that places them at 5-4.

Going forward, the Bucs, at 3-5, have their work cut out if they have to put their target for the season back into perspective. It is not an easy task though. Their next opponents, the Dallas Cowboys, lie in wait, themselves having won only two matches since the season took off. On the other hand, the Giants have a morale boosting victory that will spur them better results against their next opponents, the New England Patriots, who have not lost any game this season. It will be a tough one for the Giants, so they cannot afford to rest on their laurels.

NFL 2015 Week 8: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, November 01, 1:00 PM, Georgia Dome

In the recent weeks, Tampa bay Buccaneers Bay has been dominating in one statistic especially that is correlated with victory. The Buccaneers did defeat the Atlanta Falcons in overtime with 23-20 on Sunday in the Georgia Dome and thus improved their 2015 record to 3-4. Some of the interesting statistics of the game include the takeaway from Julio Jones whereby Alexander tracked the receiver down and did pull the ball away as Jones tackled and also returned it 20 yards to Atlanta’s 21, counts.

This made the rookie “backer as the first Buccaneer to ever record an interception, and a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in the same game. Winston did score the final points for the Buccaneers before overtime after rushing for a four-yard touchdown on third-and-goal during the third quarter. Matt Ryan tied the game for the Falcons on eight-yard touchdown pass to Jones with only seventeen seconds left in regulation. Another sensation event during the game came from Kicker Connor Barth’s thirty-one yard game winning filed during overtime and this was his third successful kick in his three tries during the game.

The three crucial third downs that the Buccaneers converted in the overtime did help the team to finish six-for-13 in that category on Sunday.

NFL 2015 Week 7: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington Redskins on Sunday, October 25, 1:00 PM, FedEx Field

The Washington Redskins came from behind to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31 to 30. This was a game that the buccaneers had very much early in the game made a considerable lead of 24 points only to let it slip and the Redskins win the game. Kirk Cousins, who hadn’t seen even one throw amount to a touchdown this season was the savior of the day when he made that much important pass that carried away the day.

Cousins saw three touchdowns which meant that they made the largest comeback in all of the franchise history. The Buccaneers can only blame themselves for this slip up that was really unnecessary by letting down their guard in a game that they had won way earlier on if only they had the capacity to hold on to the lead. The Redskins wide receiver also saw his moment of light when he caught the first ball of the season for him.

This was a really great game for the Redskins and the win sees them climb up the table but we can’t say the same for the Buccaneers who let slip the largest lead of the season and just give it up to one of the greatest comebacks that we have seen all season.

NFL 2015 Week 5: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, October 11, 1:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

Tampa broke its 11-game home losing streak while Jacksonville got to extend its 11-game road losing streak to 12. The score was Bucs 38, Jags 31.

The first quarter was uneventful as the Bucs took a 3-0 lead. Things picked up in the 2nd as both teams scored 2 touchdowns and Tampa added another field goal to lead by 6 at the half. The Jags scored 10 points in the 3rd quarter but it was a fumble recovery for an easy Tampa touchdown that turned the game in the Bucs favor. Tampa added a 2-point conversion to take the lead 31-24. The Bucs extended the lead in the 4th with a touchdown and Jacksonville scored a late td to get within 7. Tampa recovered the onside kick and Winston took a knee to run out the clock.

Tampa successfully ran the ball to the tune of 183 yards. Doug Martin lead the way with 123 on 24 carries. He scored two td’s rushing and also added another on a pass reception. Buc’s quarterback Jameis Winston threw for 209 yards on 13 of 19 passing with the one td to Martin and no interceptions. His passing rating was an impressive 122.5. Last week he gave up 5 turnovers but this week saw zero from him. With the running game untracked, he only needed to be efficient and protect the ball.

Jacksonville, on the other hand, could not the run the ball at all. A net of 55 yards rushing is pitiful. 21 of those yards came on a quarterback scramble. QB Blake Bortles had a big game throwing the ball. He was 23/33 for 303 yards, 4 TD’s and 1 interception. Allen Hurns caught 5 for 116 yards and Allen Robinson hauled in 7 receptions for 72 yards. The Jags gave up 6 sacks for the game – too many to expect to win.

NFL 2015 Week 4: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Carolina Panthers on Sunday, October 04, 1:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

The final showdown between the Carolina Panthers Versus Tampa Bay Buccaneers was a worth watch as Newton and Norman steered the pouncing Panthers at Buccaneers for a brilliant 4-0 victory. These stars played exceptionally well amidst some confusing moments and lack of co-ordination and their touch down moments were simply fabulous. Ed Dickson sprang for 57 yards to score and his team is proud of his game play.

He grabbed the ball from Jonathan steward from midair and took the game on his side by winning the touchdown. The game was owned by the Panthers since the beginning with five turnovers in total. All the Panthers were very heavy on the Buccaneers as this game was their best since 2003 wherein they have enjoyed five straight victories and are about to appear for the super bowl. The Bucs seemed to be deeply upset about the match and the coach himself felt they could have performed better.

Despite wise decisions like inducting Mike Alsott or Brindza and Steward’s goal attempts the day was definitely not in favor of Tampa Bay’s Buccaneers. The Panthers were fully in celebration mood as they dedicated their victory to their optimistic attitude.

NFL 2015 Week 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Houston Texans on Sunday, September 27, 1:00 PM, NRG Stadium

Houston Texans were not looking promising with a 0-2 record. On September 28th, the Houston Texans were host to the Buccaneers pulling out a fantastic week 3. Ryan Mallett helped the Texans win their first win of the season, 19-9 over Tampa Bay on home soil. Ryan Mallett pulled out a threw for threw for 228 years plus a touchdown, while Alfred Blue rushing for a score to the lead the Texans had a 139 yards.

Mallett ended up giving Houston (1-2) their lead with a 5-yard pass to DeAndre Hopkins. Second quarter, Buccaneers went up 9-7 on a touchdown reception by Charles Sims that came after an interception by Mallet, but did not score again. The end game gives the Houston Texan Fans exactly what was needed for this NFL season a win finally early on in the season. As a final note, the Texans still did not have LT Duane Brown (hand) in the game. Second longest field-goal in franchise history goes to Brindza’s 58-yarder. Though Tampa Bay LB Lavonte David did have 14 tackles.

The Texans stadium has officially changed to Astro Turf for Sunday’s game after 13 straight years of using natural grass. Fans went quickly to Social Media sites shortly after the Texans win posting their excitement and posting how the game was the best of the year for the Texans thus far.

NFL 2015 Week 2: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints on Sunday, September 20, 1:00 PM, Mercedes-Benz Superdome

In New Orleans, the Who-dat fans are dusting off their paper bags to wear over their heads in shame as their Saints looked dismal in a loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team who played woefully in their game against the Tennessee Titans the previous weekend. The final score was 26-19 in an upset, probably the last time in the foreseeable future the Saints will be favored in an NFL game.

Jameis Winston connected on 14 out of 21 pass attempts for 207 yards. The number one overall pick in last springs player draft won for the first time in his career, outplaying veteran star quarterback Drew Brees of the Saints. The most important sequence of the game came in 3 straight Tampa drives beginning at the end of the second half and scoring 17 points to give the Bucs a lead they held through to the end of the game. Winston threw a 15-yard pass for a touchdown to Vincent Jackson with 12 seconds left in the first half. The Bucs received the second half kickoff and drove the field in 2 minutes with Winston scoring on a run from the one yard line. On his next drive, he completed a 54-yard pass off of one foot to Louis Murphy to set up a field goal.

The Saints managed to make a game of it at the end as Tampa tried to give away the game with 2 fourth quarter fumbles but it was too little, too late. The Saints themselves fumbled last to doom their final chance at sending the game into overtime.

The Saints’ left guard Lelito could not block the Buc’s defensive tackle Gerald McCoy to save his life. If he wasn’t harassing Brees, then he was drawing double and triple teams, allowing his team mates to apply pressure. Brees’ deep passes resembled wounded ducks, leading Saints fans to wonder if he still has the talent to play the game at the level of one of the best in the game. Nevertheless, Brees passed Dan Marino for third place in most career completions and threw a touchdown pass in his 37th straight game.

NFL 2015 Week 1: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Tennessee Titans on Sunday, September 13, 4:25 PM, Raymond James Stadium

This matchup had been hyped up for 4 months before its game day. The Titans rode the wave of excitement to rout the Buccaneers 42 – 14. The Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota threw four passes that ended in clean touchdowns. The loss was painful for the Buccaneers because it was their tenth loss at home. Their head coach Mr. Lovie Smith simply walked off the pitch in utter disappointment. Their fans were also hugely upset. 63, 945 fans had thronged the stadium to come and see the Buccaneers win. Unfortunately for them, it was never to be.

The match had been anticipated with excitement since it would feature two starting quarterbacks against each other. They had been drafted into the NFL after being selected positions 1 and 2. Thus, it was expected that they would be fiercely competitive against each other. The eyes of the NFL world were on them both locally in Tampa Bay, Florida and across the nation. However, Mariota put himself ahead by leading his team to a 35-7 halftime lead. He exhibited a passer rating of 158.3 in the match. The rating was perfect and placed him among the hottest quarterbacks to watch in the league. To make the pain worse for the Buccaneers, two of their star defensive players were on the bench with towels over their shoulders. These were Warren Sapp and Derrick Brooks. They are both members of the Buccaneers Ring of Honor and did not stop the loss that they suffered under the Tennessee Titans.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers NFL season 2014

The Tampa Bay Bucs were not able to hold leads last season. Josh McCown made too many key turnovers in crucial situations, which led to a 2-14 record for the team. Bobby Rainey had some success at special teams for the Bucs, but a good punt return can only do so much for a team that is still trying to get comfortable with their defensive system.

You have to wonder how much Doug Martin truly has left in the tank due to injuries at running back, his numbers were kind of down and his production was sporadic.

NFL Week 17: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs New Orleans Saints on Sunday, December 28, 1:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

Drew Brees was able to find different receivers when it truly mattered against the Tampa Bay Buccanneers, despite throwing three interceptions in the game. Despite the fact that Doug Martin was able to have around 4.5 yards per rush by finding Saints that weren’t able to maintain their gaps, the Saints and Mark Ingram were still able to outrun them in the fourth quarter when it counted.

Bradley McDouglas was able to make a great interception against Bress as he targeted Colton, but the Saints were able to outscore the Bucs by a 16=0 score in the fourth quarter. This fact appears to be symbolic of Tampa’s season. Mike Evans still catches a touchdown, but he will be overshadowed by people like the aggressive ball hawks for the Saints when he is going against Rob Ryan’s defense. Daquan Bowers and William Gholston continue to make plays for a Bucs team defense that still has a steep learning curve, based upon the slants that Drew Brees was able to hit on them in the second quarter. The Saints beat the Bucs by a 23-20 score. You have to wonder whether the Bucs and Dashon Goldson were too focused on defending Jimmy Graham, Graham was able to play a role in the run blocking scheme for the Saints as well. Graham and his comrades were able to keep the Bucs secondary honest when looking like a good play action option.

NFL Week 16: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Green Bay Packers on Sunday, December 21, 1:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

The Green Bay Packers came into the game against the Buccaneers needing a victory. If the Packers win they clinched a spot in the playoffs. Although the Packers defeated the Buccaneers, they struggled early in the game, but later pulled it together to get the victory and solidify their position in the playoffs.

Aaron Rodgers threw fro 318 yards and one touchdown. The star quarterback completed thirty-one passes. Twenty of those pass completions went to Randall Cobb and Jordy Nelson. Cobb caught eleven passes for 131 yards and no touchdowns. Nelson caught nine passes for 113 yards and one touchdown. Running back Eddie Lacy was another key to the Packers victory, as he ran for 99 yards. He also scored the other Packer touchdown.

The Packers defense took advantage of the struggling Tampa Bay team. The defense forced two turnovers and sacked the Tampa quarterback seven times. The Packer defense held the Buccaneers to 109 total yards and one field goal.

The Buccaneers struggled throughout the game, most notably their running game. The Buccaneers ran the ball fourteen times for sixteen yards. Doug Martin carried the ball the most. He only gained seventeen yards on ten attempts. Josh McCown played admirably, as he threw for 147 yards. The quarterback completed only twelve passes and he threw one interception. The Tampa Bay defense forced a fumble for the single Green Bay turnover.

Tampa Bay is facing New Orleans in the final game of the season for the Buccaneers. Green Bay is playing Detroit the winner win the NFC North and has a better playoff position.

NFL Week 15: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers on Sunday, December 14, 1:00 PM, Bank of America Stadium

Subbing in for Cam Newton was Derek Anderson for the Carolina Panthers. He tried to prove his worth by beating the Buccaneers 19-17, although it was all the field goals that gave the team their win. This was the first back to back win that they have had since weeks 1 and 2. Newton was out due to two fractures in his lower back. It gave Anderson a chance to show is stuff. Even though Anderson ended the game only adding one 2 yard touchdown pass, early in the third quarter, they were able to squeak out the win.

After the first half the Panthers were behind 10-9 which gave way to a pep talk from linebackers Luke Keuchly and Thomas Davis. This talk turned out pretty well as they were able to score 9 more points in the second half. Charles Johnson and Addison worked together the strip McCown of the ball in the second half. This was the game changing play and cinched the win for the Panthers. This isn’t to say that Anderson didn’t have his own sacks. Anderson ended the game on the receiving end of three sacks.

NFL Week 14: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Detroit Lions on Sunday, December 07, 1:00 PM, Ford Field

Tampa Bay at Detroit was an NFL game that did not go well for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This is because they scored half what Detroit Lions scored. In summary, Detroit Lions were playing home and they did not let their home fans down. The game came to a final score sheet of 17-34 with the Lions taking the victory.

In the first quarter, Buccaneers did not manage to record any score. On the other hand, the Lions scored 7 points. In the last quarter of the first half, the two teams performed competitively to record the same scores. Each team scored 10 points. The first half was concluded with scores of 10-17 with the Lions taking the lead. In the second half, the Buccaneers did not record a score again. The Lions did not hold back as they scored 10 points. In the final quarter of the match, the two teams again scored equal points to end the match. Both teams recorded a score of 7 points each giving an overall score of 17 points to 34 points.

The Buccaneers offense could not handle the Lions’ pressure. Mathew Stafford passed over 311 yards with 3 touchdowns. His team mate Joique Bell had 18 carries over 83 yards and 1 touchdown. V. Jackson of Buccaneers recorded 10 receives over 159 yards.

NFL Week 13: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, November 30, 1:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had a pretty dismal season this year. In week 13 they were head-to-head with the Cincinnati Bengals and it looked as though they had a chance to brighten their season a bit. In the final seconds of the game, they were just one point behind the Bengals. With the ball on second down at the Cincinnati 41-yard line and driving, a window of opportunity had opened for the Bucs as QB Josh McCown completed a 21-yard pass to receiver Louis Murphy.

The Bucs window came crashing down when Bengals Marvin Lewis challenged the play within the final two minutes of the half, costing the Bengals a time out, which was a potentially serious penalty considering that the Buccaneers were without one. But the odds returned in the Bengals favor when the review of the play shone light on a major problem – the Buccaneers had an extra man on the field during their play. The call forced the Bucs back to the Cincinnati 46-yard line and in the final second of the game the Bengals took over, despite three first-half interceptions from Andy Dalton, taking the victory and remaining at the top of the AFC North with an 8-3-1 mark.

NFL Week 12: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Chicago Bears on Sunday, November 23, 1:00 PM, Soldier Field

Lovie Smith was the master architect of Chicago’s defense during his tenure lasting nine years at the Bears. However, his return to with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was not to be as memorable as he probably might have intended, having to endure the misery of watching his charges fall to his once Bears philosophy. Trailing 10 – 0 at the restart the Bears scored 14 points in the third quarter from takeaways to beat the Buccaneers 21-13.

Marc Trestman full of praise for his boys on the four big takeaways was not in an apologetic mood after the game, having been quoted saying that the Bears would not be apologizing for the takeaways neither would they be sorry for short fields that they benefited from. Several Bears Defenders also felt that the slight drizzle at kickoff helped with the taking away of the ball. Ryan Mundy said that it was their game plan to go for the takeover especially since with bad weather the forwards have a rough time handling the ball. Forte was the Bears Hero with two touch downs in 1:49 but collectively as a team it was a beautiful 2 points in the basket to build on.

NFL Week 11: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Washington Redskins on Sunday, November 16, 1:00 PM, FedEx Field

A young Tampa Bay team traveled to Washington for an early contest. Washington is struggling as they turned the ball over three times and Robert Griffin was sacked six times. Unlike Washington, Tampa only had one turnover, and the quarterback was sacked only twice. Tampa Bay’s dominance is rather surprising because they out gained the Redskins by seven yards. The buccaneers also had more penalty yardage than the Redskins.

Tampa quarterback Josh McCown completed fifteen passes for 288 yards and two touchdowns. The main target for the quarterback was rookie Mike Evans. The young receiver caught seven passes for 209 yards and two touchdowns. Vincent Jackson caught three passes for forty-three yards.

Washington’s offense was led by running back Alfred Morris. He ran the ball twenty times for ninety-six yards and no touchdowns. The running back also caught two passes for thirty-six yards. Robert Griffin continues to struggle as he passed for 207 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. The quarterback ran the ball six time for forty-one yards. Roy Helu caught six passes for fifty-seven yards. The running back caught the only Washington touchdown.

Tampa Bay heads to Chicago, and faces the Bears in the windy city. Washington heads to the west coast with a troublesome 49ers team whom is playing for their playoff life.

NFL Week 10: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Atlanta Falcons on Sunday, November 09, 1:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

Atlanta faced of against Tampa Bay in a battle of two NFC South teams. Both teams came in to the contest needing a victory. The first half of the game proved the importance of the game, as the Falcons lead thirteen to ten at the half. In the second half the Falcons proved that they have too much talent for the rebuilding Buccaneers.

Steven Jackson had a strong rushing game for the Falcons as he ran for eighty-one yards and a touchdown. The top receiver for the Falcons was Julio Jones who caught eight passes for 119 yards. Roddy White caught a touchdown pass. Matt Ryan had a serviceable day at quarterback as he threw for 219 yards and did not have any interceptions.

The Atlanta defense accounted for three turnovers and four sacks. Tampa Bay’s strongest player was wide receiver Mike Evans, he had seven receptions fro 125 yards and one touchdown. Vincent Jackson had 8 receptions for seventy-five yards. The Buccaneers quarterback Josh McCown completed twenty-seven passes for 301 yards, two touchdowns, and two interceptions. The Tampa defense did sack Ryan once for seven yards, but they did not have any turnovers for the game.

Atlanta is playing against Carolina in another NFC South battle. Tampa is traveling to the nations capitol to play Washington.

NFL Week 9: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Cleveland Browns on Sunday, November 02, 1:00 PM, FirstEnergy Stadium

An interesting duel was the Tampa Bay Buccaneers versus the Cleveland Browns played in Ohio. The poor Buccaneers were out to stop their free fall, but this was not to be. They lost the game 17-22. However, they can take consolation in the fact that they lost narrowly. For a team that has been on a losing streak, the result was quite encouragement. This was their seventh loss of the season. Their wait for a second victory of the season continues. As it is, it may take longer for them to turn their fortunes around.

For the Browns, this was sweet victory, the fifth of the season. They were obvious favorites in the game. However, the victory did not come easy. The Buccaneers gave them a hard time. They had to fight hard to earn their points. They won the first quarter 3-0 before the Buccaneers gave them a scare in the second quarter, handing them a 6-10 loss. The resurgence of the Buccaneers seemed to hold in the third quarter in which the teams tied at 7-7. The last quarter was a do or die affair. A draw of any kind would have handed the Buccaneers a famous victory. With this realization, the Browns threw in all their remaining ounce of strength, coming out tops with a 6-0 victory.

NFL Week 8: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, October 26, 1:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

Chase Ford was a key in the Vikings 19-13 win over the Buccaneers, Ford caught 6 passes for 61 yards in the game. We cannot deny the impact that having Chad Greenway in the lineup can have for the Vikings. Due to the stability that is created by Greenway at linebacker, a young star like Anthony Barr can have more success. You want to be able to say that players like Xavier Rhodes are starting to become comfortable with the scheme set up by defensive backs coach Jerry Gray.

The Vikings were able to capitalize on the fact that Bucs running back Doug Martin had to leave the game with a foot injury. Martin had proven to be difficult to bring down earlier in the game. Jasper Brinkley was able to patrol a number of areas and reach the boundaries, thus making some difficult tackles. Jerico McKinnon continues to handle the majority of the running load for the Vikings, but it should be easier to defeat a team with a decimated defensive line like the Bucs. Matt Asiata has to get more than four carries in a game in order for the Vikings to win the future. Teddy Bridgewater was able to capitalize on a confused Bucs secondary late in the game. Jarius Wright only caught three passes in the game, he showed a certain amount of frustration about not being able to get open more.

NFL Week 6: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, October 12, 1:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

Baltimore won 48-17 against Tampa Bay. Baltimore had a good game. Their passes were top notch and quick that the Tampa Bay players were in most cases left confused. Flacco made history as he made the fastest five touch downs ever in a span of the first sixteen minutes. Baltimore had more balance when it came to the red zone as compared to Tampa Bay. Touchdown passes from Flacco were accurate as they successfully reached the receiver in the first quarter. Torrey Smith had a good game. Things were not going good for Tampa Bay as they were outclassed by Baltimore Ravens.

Joe Flacco’s third touchdown was superb as he tossed the seventeen yards to Kamar who was at the end zone. Joe also had another pass to Camanaro Michael which led to a touchdown. Joe was having a good time as he pulled a touchdown from fifty six yards to Smith Steve who was in a very good position. Baltimore were very offensive that you could not tell they had an inexperience number of players on the left offensive side. This was their best match since 2012 because they have never had as many points as they did. Tampa Bay lost 48-17 at full time.

NFL Week 5: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at New Orleans Saints on Sunday, October 05, 1:00 PM, Mercedes-Benz Superdome

New Orleans Saints beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 37-31 in a game that saw both teams hold up to a draw during regular time. The game had to be sent into overtime where the Saints rose from the draw to claim the win. The Sunday game saw the Saints come from a 11-point deficit in the forth quarter to dominate the rest of the game and win it.

The Saints started the game off on a high notch by scoring three consecutive goals. The first two goals from Shayne Graham being 30-yard and a 29-yard field goals saw the Saint take an early lead. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers dominated the second and third half scoring four goals out of the six scored in these two quarters leaving the teams at; Buccaneers 24 – Saints 20.

In the fourth quarter a 9 yard touch down by Robert Herron saw Buccaneers give Saints an 11-point difference. However, Saints responded to this attack by a 27-yard run by Pierre Thomas, Mike Glennon was sacked in end zone by Junior Galette for a safety and Shyne Graham scored a 44-yard field goal to equalize the game. In the overtime period Khiry Robinson made an 18-yard touch down sending the Saints into the first place and earning them the much deserved home win.

NFL Week 4: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, September 28, 1:00 PM, Heinz Field

Doug Martin was able to give Mike Glennon, a young quarterback the kind of safety blanket that he needs in order to have a lot of success against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Martin was able to let the passing game develop by being a viable option against a largely young Steelers defensive line. Mike Evans and Mike Glennon are starting to build a true connection, the hope is that Evans will be able to stay healthy despite the fact that he left during part of the game in Pittsburgh with an injury. Daquan Bowers was able to make a number of impressive plays, bringing the right approach while attempting to bring down Ben Roethlisberger.

The Steelers need a larger contribution from Lance Moore if they can expect to win more games. They lost 27-24 to the Buccaneers because the Buccaneers were able to start keying on a receiver like Antonio Brown. Brown still had seven catches and two touchdowns, but the Steelers did not really show a very balanced offense. The Buccaneers on the other hand took the time to open up the middle of the field with Austin Sefarin-Jenkins, making life more difficult for Steelers defenders like Arthur Moats and Cameron Heyward. Moats was only able to record one tackle in the game, probably a sign that the Steelers began to get frustrated.

NFL Week 3: Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, September 18, 8:25 PM, Georgia Dome

The NFL week 3 saw the Buccaneers lose very heavily to a very inspired Falcons side. The Falcons 56-14 win over the Bucs was incidentally one of the Falcons biggest victories in their history. It is actually their second biggest victory in history, eclipsed only by their 1973, 62-7 victory over New Orleans. It also happens to be their only fifth victory with a margin of over forty points. This was one of their best days in office. They were in imperious form, to say the least.

In this game, played on an 18th Thursday night at The Georgia Dome, Atlanta, the Bucs were simply clueless and hapless. They couldn’t measure up to the visitors in all departments. They just couldn’t do anything right. Coming into this game, they had already lost all their first three games of the season. A win would have seen them break the losing streak and inject some new hope and morale in the team. However, they may console themselves that their four of their defensive starters were missing in action. Gerald McCoy was out with a hand injury sustained from their previous game in which they lost to St Louis.

The Falcons victory puts their season on track, boosting their morale ahead of their fifth game of the season. For the Bucs, nothing seems to be working well at the moment. They are like a ship in a sea storm. They have their work cut out if they have to salvage their season.

NFL Week 2: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs St. Louis Rams NFL game live streaming on Sunday, September 14, 4:05 PM, Raymond James Stadium

The Buccaneers hosted the Rams on Sunday 14th Sep at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, FL. It is a game they will want to forget very fast. They lost it 17-19 to their visitors, the Rams. Their coach, Smith, confessed that he, together with his staff, was to blame for the loss. He was simply very conservative in his fielding. The focus seemed to be the defense, leaving the offense to struggle and just get by. This was a grave mistake in a very winnable game that would have boosted their fortunes this season.

The Rams, on the other hand, played with a lot of determination, which saw them choke up a very vital away victory. Their comeback quarterback, Austin Davies, was very composed, calm and efficient to guide his side to their first and very important victory of the season. He replaced their veteran, Shaun Hill, who was out with a thigh injury. This was Austin’s first NFL start and he did not disappoint. The Rams will be seeking to build momentum in their next game, while the Buccaneers have to rise above this loss and bounce back to winning ways quickly.

NFL Week 1: Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Carolina Panthers NFL on Sunday, September 7, 4:25 PM, Raymond James Stadium

On September 7th, the Carolina Panthers faced the Buccaneers from Tampa away from home. It was a performance to cheer for, from the guests, as they rallied past their opponents 20 to 14. Clearly deserved winners, the Panthers were proven to be very efficient given how they dominated each aspect of the game, from being top passers, top rushers to top receivers. It was a good game for Derek Anderson, the quarterback threw for two-hundred and thirty yards and had two touchdowns, but a solid defensive display from his team to go with it; sacking Josh McCown of the Buccaneers three times as well as intercepting him twice. Veteran Anderson, substituting fellow Cam Newton due to injury, gave coach Ron Rivera a chance to resort his options in the quarterback area. On the other hand, Lovie Smith will not be happy about the outcome of the contest, despite some positives worth mentioning, such as an improved offense that was referred to as “one of the worst” a year ago, displaying a solid attacking know-how during the fourth quarter. Linebacker Kuechly of Panthers forced a remarkable fumble that led to a field goal at the end of the game. Additionally, Tampa’s Mankins picked up a knee injury.

A disastrous season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2013

For the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the 2013 season was simply disastrous. Indeed, describing their performance on the field as dismal would be an understatement. They were a total disappointment, especially to the fans who always showed up faithfully in their multitudes to support the team. One can only imagine how they felt when they saw their team being humiliated not once but severally. By all standards, the 2013 season wasn’t pretty to the Buccaneers. The team only averaged a mere 18 points per game. Despite the results being abysmal, the season had its occasional good moments.

The Good

The major highlight in the bucks 2013 season was their multi-million dollar signing of the extremely talented, Darrelle Revis. Revis entertained the fans for all 16 games of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers season and was truly worth every dollar spent in his acquisition down to the very last cent. He was consequently named the Sporting news player of the year. Despite their numerous losses, the Buccaneers had several wins that made the money and time spent by the fans worthwhile. Arguably, the best moment of the team is when they narrowly defeated their perennial rivals Miami Dolphins 22-19. The Buccaneers longest winning streak of the season was started by this victory that was unquestionably hard fought for.

The Bad

The buccaneers dismal season was made worse by the absence of Doug Martin who was missing in action due to a shoulder injury. As a result of his absence, the Bucs offense was lacking in aggression and was anything but intimidating. Additionally, the absence of Williams, the wide receiver, during most of the teams games made the teams attacks more wanting. With regard to defense, the Buccaneers performance during the 2013 season was simply not impressive. On the first day, they lost to the Jets. Certainly, nothing is worse than a first day loss. The Buccaneers went on to lose to New Orleans, Arizona and Seattle in succession. When the curtain finally fell on the season, the team differential stood at -101. The defence had managed to allow about 24 points per game. By all standards, this is dismal.

The Ugly

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lowest moment must have been when they were mauled by The New Orleans saints 42-17. Their spirit was totally crushed and it was at this moment that the fate of their coach, Greg Schiano, was sealed. He was fired at the end of the season. The performance of team veteran, Freeman was dismally poor. His offensive output was simply below par. Eventually, he was benched and rookie Mike Glennon replaced him. In addition to his poor show, it was alleged that he was a stage one participant in the NFL’s drug program.
