Andy Dalton on the second down is made to throw it away while Za’Darius Smith gets the sack making the Bengals punt. The muffed punt is recovered at the 36-yard line by Michael Campanaro. West rushes for a first down and makes it after Dre Kirkpatrick misses the defensive holding. Flacco scrambles to the left after a one-yard gain to find a 12-yard gain for Danny Woodhead. Another first down is made when Flacco finds Woodhead on the second and 10.

In the second half, on first down, for two yards Campanaro takes a handoff. James Hurst on the second down is called for false start. NFL Season 2017 Week 16: Cincinnati Bengals vs Detroit Lions on Sunday, December 24, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The Sunday game played at the Paul Brown Stadium witnessed scores in all the quarters. The first quarter saw the Lions lead the Cincinnati Bengals. The goal came from a 33-yard pass from Stafford to Eric Ebron who outshone linebacker Jordan Evans with a 4:54 left. The resultant was Lions 7 and Bengal 0. In the second quarter, the Cincinnati Bengals improve their game immensely. They incorporated good stretches of runs that made Lions players such as Dalton Panic. The effort paid off when Randy Bullock scored from29 yards. The onslaught continued when at 2.24 pm, Bengal’s Dalton hit Green at 18 yards to the Detroit’s 35. At the end of the second quarter, the score was Lions 7, Bengal 6.

The third quarter proved to be the most competitive. It started with Lion’s Matter Prater pushing the team to a 10-6 lead when he made a 23-yard goal at 9:26 left. The Bengals reiterated with a 5:52 field goal from Dalton. Bengals lead at 13:10 at the end of the third quarter. The stiff competition continued into the fourth quarter. Bullock’s field goal at 35 yards gave Bengal a 16-10 lead. Lions reciprocated with a 5-yard run by Tion Green which gave them a lead of 17-16. NFL Season 2017 Week 15: Cincinnati Bengals at Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, December 17, 1:00 PM, U.S. Bank Stadium

The Minnesota Vikings took on the Cincinnati Bengals, and there are a lot of reasons why the Bengals were not hopeful for this game. They have not had a lot of bad breaks this season, and they are probably going to get Marvin Lewis fired. The Vikings won the game 34-7, and they were so efficient on offense that Case Keenum looks like the MVP of the league right now. Andy Dalton only had 113 yards passing, and the ground game was completely inert for Cincinnati.

The Vikings had 236 yards passing, and they got another 76 on the ground. They were very good on defense, and they turned over the Bengals enough to make it hard for them to make any progress. Minnesota was never in any danger of losing this game, and they have shown that they have what it takes to move into the playoffs and get a first round bye.

NFL Season 2017 Week 14: Cincinnati Bengals vs Chicago Bears on Sunday, December 10, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

It was a very chilly and cold day when the Chicago Bears put up a huge fight which was unexpected by both the fanatics and the players. The Cincinnati never topped in the short times in Week 14 and totally played uninspired football because their season appeared to finally be officially over. One of the key winners of the Bengals is Giovani Bernard. The fact that he featured at the back for the first time after a long period of time made him an outstanding winner. However, No. 25 tried to answer the bell. He therefore experienced a good number of hard-fought run. You realize that Bernard owned 11 carries for the 61 yards and different other six catches for his 68 yards. The challenge was not with the player’s production, but the team’s capability to endure on the grounds and regularly try to feed him the ball.

Michael Johnson is also another amazing winner who is actually a veteran had a great day. Considering the Bengals’ issues during second half especially this year, if the Bengals would like to get away with a win in the upcoming matches, the team will need to definitely play well particularly in the first half. It is critical to understand that in case the Bengals wish to overcome the Vikings at 10-3 they will surely require to buck major trends that we have seen them fall into particularly this year.

NFL Season 2017 Week 13: Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers on Monday, December 04, 8:30 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

Pittsburg Steelers met with Cincinnati Bengals in another intense match by rival teams. Even though they started strong, Bengals still lost the game leaving fans wondering how that happened. They began with a touchdown pass and field goal that gave them a 17-0 lead and with several injuries, the game was almost a sure win in their favor but ended with a 23-20 final score. Losing a leading tackler in the first quarter shook up the Pittsburg team but with several penalties, they managed to put up a fight and get the win. The Bangles also lost a linebacker shortly after.

Even after putting up a strong defense in the first half and placing a gap between them, Cincinnati played rough and got 13 penalties for unnecessary conduct, taunting, roughing a passer and unsportsmanlike conduct among others. This gave Pittsburg a chance to redeem themselves and they did it well to come from a possible loss. With a little over 3 minutes left, they managed to tie the score to 20-20, and scored a field goal with only a few seconds left in the game, which gave them the lead. The game had lots of personal fouls and injuries that affected both teams and could have long-term effects. The hosts tried but the loss has led to another drop for them.

NFL Season 2017 Week 12: Cincinnati Bengals vs Cleveland Browns on Sunday, November 26, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

At midfield, DeShone Kizer from the Browns and Joe Mixon of the Bengals exchanged jerseys. These two amazing rookies are in anticipation to make a mark in the National Football League. Running for a career of one hundred and fourteen yards, Mixon eventually had his time during a 30-16 win. This keeps the Bengals at 5-6 with the anticipation for a playoff match if they finish well and get a lot of assistance. It is another moment of wondering for the Browns and Kizer. The Brows are wondering if their team can even win a match in the NFL.

Since the 1970 merger, the Browns remain the second club to remain 0-11 in consecutive years. In 1976-77, it was the expansion Buccaneers that experienced the same scenario. To get the only victory last season, it took the Browns the fifteenth game to shine. To avoid 0-16, the Browns are really running out of chances to get a win. While the season started well, the Browns have tried their effort to make the games close to win. The only thing that keeps on occurring to the Browns is that they allow the game slip away in bad luck. Mixon, Jabrill Peppers and other players from the Bengals did everything to win the match against the Browns. At the moment, the Bengals are having their eyes on the next match against the Steelers.

NFL Season 2017 Week 11: Cincinnati Bengals at Denver Broncos on Sunday, November 19, 4:25 PM, Sports Authority Field@Mile High

Cincinnati Bengals stunned the Denver Broncos in their own backyard, with a well deserved 20-17 win. The Bengals who are going through a rough season have the worst offensive and defensive lines in the NFL. Furthermore, the Cincinnati Bengals had never won a game in Denver for 40 years and were overwhelming underdogs going into this game. The Denver Broncos however had troubles of their own. They had not had a win in five games and looked a pale shadow of the team that won the Superbowl just last year. They were nevertheless expected to turn their fortunes around by beating the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton had an outstanding game and made three touchdown passes that propelled his team to victory. The Bengals defense also put up a spirited display to repel waves of attack from the Broncos. In an attempt to motivate the team’s effort, the Denver Broncos general manager had before the game criticized the team for being soft. But his sentiments did little to inspire his team to win and their winless streak now stretches to six games, their worst run in twenty seven years. While the under-fire Bengals may have earned a little breathing space, Denver Broncos are now seem to be in trouble and their next few results will now prove pivotal for the fate of their management and some team payers.

NFL Season 2017 Week 10: Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans on Sunday, November 12, 1:00 PM, Nissan Stadium

Cincinnati Bengals at Tennessee Titans is such a fun too. The Titans won with a 24-20 score which is just the beginning of the fun. Mariota was the hero of the game. Mariota was awesome completing 5 of 9 passes for 43 yards on this winning game drive. He also had an important 5-yard run right away. Murray had a 7-yard run, which is amazing for this player too. He did it with just 36 seconds left, which is truly a lot of fun. He also pushed the powerful Titans ahead 23-20. This was his third touchdown, and this is great.

Mr. Succop provided the final 24-20 margin with an extra point. The Titans have 4 wins in a row. This is great for this team because they want to win. This is the longest winning streak of this franchise since 2009, and that’s just awesome for the team too. Four Titans have gained 30 or even more rushing yards. There are also 4 Titans with 30 or even more receiving yards. And this is another awesome fact for the Titans too. They want to win and have a lot of fun. The Titans have won eight of their last home games, which is also awesome for them too.

NFL Season 2017 Week 9: Cincinnati Bengals at Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, November 05, 1:00 PM, EverBank Field

Coach Doug Marrone had been troubled a week before the match after listing to what Vontaze Burfict said. Doug immediately contacted Blake Bortles for a new plan and development. On this note, Coach Doug ensured that Blake did not press. The truth is that Blake eventually handled the condition better than Coach Doug anticipated. Blake Bortles was able to throw for around two hundred and fifty-nine yards with a beautiful touchdown. This helped to have a victory against the Bengals and Burfict. The Jaguars end up with a win over the Bengals at 23-7 on Sunday.

Blake did not sack and never had a turnover. In fifty-three career starts, Blake has been able to perform this wonders in the 4th time. For the first time in thirteen months, Bortles worked hard on the field to help the Jaguars win the game against the Bengals at 5-3. Bortles also went to record as winning at the EverBank Field since last December for the first time. On the first series, Jalen Ramsey, Jaguars cornerback and the Bengals A.J. Green started yapping and went off prior to the halftime. The clash becomes dirty when the defender pushed A.J.Green to the ground.

NFL Season 2017 Week 8: Cincinnati Bengals vs Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, October 29, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

Possibly the Indianapolis Colts at Cincinnati Bengals shouldn’t win. Perhaps they would just have beaten a modest bunch of groups on Sunday. Perhaps Sunday more demonstrated how far the Bengals need to go to have any expectation in 2017. But they can go to bed knowing they stayed away from calamity. They can spare the responses to the issues as yet tormenting them for one more day. What’s more, in transit out of the locker room, everybody in the building should embrace Carlos Dunlap. His one-man pass separation and pick-six set off a gigantic breathe out in Paul Brown Stadium in the Bengals’ 24-23 triumph against the humble Colts.

They go ahead into a three-game street swing with an opportunity to right the ship of this season and also begin and come back to .500 out of the blue. Meanwhile, the master plan takeaway was about as radiant as the dull mists covering the city on Sunday. Indeed, even on the uncommon event, the line gave time to Dalton; he was not able to locate any steady association with A.J. Green or any other person. Joe Mix on, who announced himself needing more touches, delighted in a 66-yard breakout on a screen, but marshaled by nothing in the run game and lost a bungle to set up a Colts field objective. The safeguard – anticipated that would be the mallet to convey this group – permitted the hapless Colts and Jacoby Brisket to push them around in advance on the run and looked lost over and over prompting focuses, however, they could complete with a whirlwind when Indy was compelled to

In the third quarter, most of Dalton’s interceptions occurred. This helped Boswell kick his 4th and 3rd field goals to extend the lead to 26-14.

NFL Season 2017 Week 5: Cincinnati Bengals vs Buffalo Bills on Sunday, October 08, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

A.J. Green was taken at his word by the Bengals. While all balls slipped through repeatedly, they keep on throwing towards his way. Green later tries to create a difference in the condition he found himself. With Green’s participation, he was able to impact around three turnovers. Green had a catch that created the upcoming score and a 77-yard touchdown on Sunday. In a steady rain, the contribution of Green helped the Bengals to defeat the Bills at 20-16. The Cincinnati Bengals were able to salvage their season after losing three consecutive matches.

The Bengals were able to make passes top their active players at the most crucial moments. Joe Mixon was able to make a good use of the 5-yard touchdown run created by Green’s 47-yard catch. This helps to put the Bengals on the lead in the 4th quarter. The Cincinnati is premier in the AFC North after the Pittsburgh’s loss. By depending too much on Stephen Hauschka, the Bills had a good beginning in the season. The defense of the Bills remained strong through the NFL competition. The offense of the Bills failed thoroughly, making the Bengals to convert all chances provided. The Bengals had three wonderful turnovers and led to the victory of the game for the Cincinnati.

NFL Season 2017 Week 4: Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns on Sunday, October 01, 1:00 PM, FirstEnergy Stadium

The Bengals required a stronger force to keep the team moving in the right direction in 2017. The best way for the Bengals to move into the right direction is by battling it out with the Browns. On the tune of 31-7, the Bengals led every section of the game against the Cleveland. When compared to a couple of days before the match, the feelings and enthusiasm of the Bengals rise to an all-time high. Among the winners of the day is Giovani Bernard. Giovani a specialty back sounds magnificent through the game. Giovani had about twelve carries while Joe Mixon received the biggest share of the overall carries. Bernard teamed up with Bill Lazor perfectly to get the game going. With a sixty-one-yard receiving score, Giovani shocked the world again before halftime.

Another outstanding player was Andy Dalton. Seventeen of eighteen passes was what Andy finished with, in the match between the Bengals and the Brows. With zero interceptions, three touchdowns and two hundred and fifteen yards, Andy played a nice game. After losing only five passes, Andy maintains the high spirit of the game and achieving four tossing touchdowns. Into the third quarter of the game, Dalton strikes sixteen straight passes. NFL Preseason 2017 Week 3: Cincinnati Bengals at Washington Redskins on Sunday, August 27, 4:30 PM, FedEx Field

In the Bengals versus Redskins game, the Cincinnati showed immense promise at the game’s beginning. The offense headed by Andy Dalton and the initial team was strong. At this point, it was clear that the Redskins would be left with the same sense of dejection they felt in their first two preseason games. However, the Cincinnati’s lucky streak came to an end after the first quarter, when the backups were brought into the game. On the other side of the ball, the Redskin’s defense appeared to perform better than their offense, which looked a little out of sorts.

They managed to tackle the Cincinnati rookie Joe Mixon, who gave up the ball. Despite this, it was not until Dustin Hopkins came out onto the field that the Redskins managed to claim their first points. In the second quarter, the game took a sharp turn for the better. The rookies continued to push for additional points, with Colt McCoy scoring a 9-yard touchdown. Besides Passer McCoy contribution, the Redskins also took advantage of the Cincinnati’s failed punt. This gave them a lead, which they maintained till the very end of the game, granting them a 23-17 win against the Cincinnati’s Bengals.

NFL Preseason 2017 Week 2: Cincinnati Bengals vs Kansas City Chiefs on Saturday, August 19, 7:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The game between the Kansas City Chiefs at Cincinnati Bengals was just amusing to watch. Kansas City Chief’s Patrick Mahomes looked and played pretty solid. It’s definitely just exciting to see what more he can do more in the next pre-season games. It’s indubitable that he’s got an undeniable swagger and confidence when he plays. Also, the entire offense was looking good for the Chiefs. The starting quarterback had a great momentum enabling a good offense, which the Chiefs was able to keep throughout the entire game. Smith then again never failed to give his best.

He made some great throws, and he has the timing down perfectly. Last year, the Chief’s biggest problems was rushing, both offense and defense. And they were able to fix both. It showed. All these must have contributed to their 30 to 12 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals’ defense looked good in practice but they weren’t able to make a tackle. The Chiefs just steamrolled the Bengals defense and made them look amateur with all the missed tackles, there’s no excuse for missing that many tackles in the NFL. The Bengals can do better than that. Hopefully they get to improve their game on the regular season.

NFL Preseason 2017 Week 1: Cincinnati Bengals vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Friday, August 11, 7:30 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

Fitzpatrick finished his first series with touchdown run of 6-yards before Bengals reawaken to a 23-12 win over Beccaneers. Tampa opened the game with a 92-yard, 14-play, but had to go for a field goal after Adam intercepted two of Winston’s passes in the end zone. Due to his offseason arrest, Jones has been suspended for the season opener by the NFL.

Marvin Lewis missed a practice the previous week due to a knee problem. Hence he was on the sideline. Andy had all his receivers-A.J. and Tyler who took the offense smoothly on Bengals’ opening drive before screwing it up. Vernon intercepted Dalton’s sideline throw at the 1-yard line. Green missed last season but this time, he had two catches for 21 yards. The two teams have kicker competitions that shone in the preseason opener.

Aguayo made a field goal of 20 yards on Tampa’s opening possession. Nick was great from 45 yards on his one chance. The kickers from Bengals were ideal. Bullock made field goals of 54 and 49 yards with his extra points try. The game was interesting to watch. Zero disappointment.

Cincinnati Bengals NFL season 2016 recap

The Cincinnati Bengals took part in the NFL for the 47th time in history. It was the 14th time their head coach Marvin Lewis led the team in this league. With the team having qualified for the playoffs since 2011, it was expected that this year would be no different. They however disappointed and regressed from their record in 2015 (12-4). This season they finished 6-9-1 being the third in their division and the 9th in the 2017 NFL draft. This is their worst performance under the leadership of Lewis. Before the season begun, Lewis had some very important decisions to make following the loss of several coaches. Vance Joseph the defensive backs coach and Matt Burke the linebackers coach left for Miami and Hue Jackson the offensive coordinator left for Cleveland.

To fill these positions were Jim Haslet, former Saints head coach, was hired as the linebackers coach, Bill Lazor, former Dolphin’s assistant coach, as the quarterbacks coach, Kelvin Coyle as the defensive backs coach and Jacob Burney, former Redskins assistant coach as the defensive line coach.

Perhaps the coaches were yet to be used to the Cincinnati climate and could not perform. A game to note this season is one against the Redskins in which both teams tied 27-27. Another is the final game of the season against the Baltimore Ravens and won 27-10. It must be noted that this last game had a very different line-up from the one that played the rest of the games in the season. Rex Buckhead replaced Jeremy Hill and finished with 25 receiving yards, 119 yards run and 2 touchdowns. With the main players injured some rookies played and were quite amazing. These included Nick Vigil, Cody Core, C.J Uzomah and Tyler Boyd.

The third quarter brought some incredible plays by both teams but the score stayed remained the same, with the Ravens on 3 – 20 to the Bengals.

In the fourth quarter, Kenneth Dixon scored a 1 yard run, which brought the Ravens score to 10, but Rex Burkhead brought the Bengals score to 27 through a 5 yard run. The Bengal’s have two injured running backs, and Burkhead hadn’t carried over nine times in a game, before the last two. His performance was reminiscent of his days as a younger player, and may have been what brought the victory to the Bengals.

NFL Season 2016 Week 16: Cincinnati Bengals at Houston Texans on Saturday, December 24, 8:25 PM, NRG Stadium

The Houston Texans had a great opportunity for winning over Cincinnati Bengals on Saturday night game. The game was just close throughout the apart from the furious late game rally by the Cincinnati.

The Houston held the win after Bengal kicker Randy missed the 43-yard field goal just before time expired. The Texans had high hopes of winning after the Jaguars beat the second place the Titans on Saturday game. The defense played well at the start of the game, but the offense came out slow with quarterback player Savage at the helm. He had two 13 yard completions.

As the game continued he improved himself and this contributed a lot to the win of Texans. He did not have an interception or throw the touchdown and had a quarterback of 79.1 rating. At first, the Texans did not have starting running back player Miller for their first time because he had an injured ankle on Sunday while playing with the Jaguars.

Alfred started in his place and had a total of 73 yards on 21 carries and that include 24 yard touchdown run in the 4th quarter and this gave the Texans a good lead. This was the first time for savage to play for NFL after he replaced player Brock at the quarterback last week.

NFL Season 2016 Week 15: Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, December 18, 8:30 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The Pittsburgh Steelers came back to beat the Cincinnati Bengals after trailing 20-6 in the second quarter at Cincinnati, clinching their fifth straight victory. Rallying from a 14-point deficit, the Steelers eliminate last season’s defending champions right on their home turf. They’re now 9-5 in the AFC North Division, with the ability to seal the title by winning at home next Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens.

The Bengals began by taking a 20-6 lead, scoring on each of their first four possessions. And it soon became obvious that the Steelers were in dire need of some life support. But came it did, some in the form of Boswell, who was responsible for the Steelers first 15 points, and some by a Bengal defense that threw the game in the second half.

Some say the Steelers-Bengals rivalry is the most intense in the NFL, and it certainly looked the case at the Paul Brown Stadium, with tackles flying everywhere. Cincinnati committed four consecutive penalties towards the end, in a spectacular meltdown which most likely cost them the game. The incident also caused Steelers tackle Marcus Gilbert to call them out for what he termed “knucklehead penalties”, specifically targeting linebacker Burfict for attempting to injure players via cheap tackles.

NFL Season 2016 Week 14: Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns on Sunday, December 11, 1:00 PM, FirstEnergy Stadium

The Cincinnati Bengals required a triumph over the Cleveland Browns to stay in the playoff race in the AFC, and that is precisely what they got at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Bengals walked directly down the field after their first kick of and scored a touchdown to take, 7-0, lead over the Browns. Dalton punctuated the 6 play, seventy three yard scoring drive with a fourteen yard touchdown go to tight end to T. Eifert with few minute remaining in the first quarter.

Griffin played better in the 2nd half but not for long. He was 9 of 24 for seventy nine yards until the Browns took the ball back with no timeouts remaining and fifty seven seconds to play. He finished 3 of 4 passes for twenty five more yards making his final rating at 38.4.

Dalton, in the mean time, had a 132.9 passer rating in the 1st half. He had the opportunity to lead touchdown drives on each of the Bengals 1st two possessions. The first was a 6 play, seventy three yard march that ended in a fourteen yard touchdown pass to Eifert and after that a 9 play, forty five yard drive finishing in a one yard dive by Jeremy Hill. Dalton completed with twenty finishes in twenty eight attempts for 180-yards.

NFL Season 2016 Week 13: Cincinnati Bengals vs Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, December 04, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

Jim Schwartz, the Eagles defensive coordinator, had his confidence crushed following Sunday’s game. He had pointed out the high level at which the players were executing in previous games and stated that they were going to win the game, no matter what. Yet, the Cincinnati Bengals had a victory of 32-14 over the Philadelphia Eagles. They showed a crisp offense, whereby over 332 yards, Dalton passed for two touchdowns. It is worth noting that this was the first time Dalton was not sacked this season. Mike Nugent had the chance to kick four field goals.

For 95 yards, Brandon LaFell had five catches and one touchdown. Wentz, from Eagles, admitted that they needed better execution. He stated that one is bound to miss a few times when throwing a ball 60 times. The Bengals, however, impressed right from the beginning. The Eagles found themselves forced to punt thrice in one-half. The 51-yard field goal attempt was also missed by Caleb Sturgis. This game got to witness quite a number of penalties. When the Brandon Graham hit Dalton, 15 yards had to be added to 39-yard completion that was given to Tyler Boyd. Obviously, the coach Pederson was not pleased with this.

NFL Season 2016 Week 12: Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, November 27, 1:00 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

On Sunday 27 Cincinnati Bengals, led by Jeremy Hill and Andy Dalton took on their AFC North rivals, the Baltimore Ravens led by Joe Flacco and Steve Smith at M&T Bank Stadium.

This was another packed game with an attendance of 70903. Ravens’ second-ranked defense was the difference maker. Suggs had 2 sacks and forced 2 fumbles and the Bengals gained only sixty four yards on the ground.

Ravens had something to do with it, but Cincinnati was playing without running back Giovanni Bernard and wide receiver A.J. Green, both were injured last week in a match with the Buffalo. Green sustained a hamstring injury that could sideline him for several weeks and Bernard was lost for the season with a torn ACL.

The Ravens, meanwhile, scored their lone touchdown on the first drive of the game. After Ravens Flacco threw a 14-yard scoring pass to Breshad Perriman, Tucker added a field goal.

Baltimore Ravens claimed the win with a final score of 19 while their rivals Cincinnati Bengals had 14. “If you want to win, you want the ball in your hands,” Tucker said. “In my case, at your feet”.

NFL Season 2016 Week 11: Cincinnati Bengals vs Buffalo Bills on Sunday, November 20, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

Buffalo Bills badly required a win to ensure its position in the finals. Taylor made optimum use of the situation and the second half showed an admirably tight defense, which led to a landmark victory. There were too many incidents of injuries that left spectators’ heads spinning. McCoy’s thumb injury and Woods’ knee injury put them out of action even before the game steamed up. Mike Gillislee hurried for 72 yards on 14 carries in McCoy’s place as Buffalo (5-5) broke the losing streak.

The Bills had not tasted victory since October and they were getting desperate. The absence of Green was conspicuous when you look at Bengals’ form and Dalton was sent off yet again this season. Mike Nugent too lost out on two additional points. Nugent had apparently lost out on points in a similar manner in the match with the Washington Redskins a couple of weeks back. Bengals (3-6-1) has missed three straight to yet again disrupt its lose all its hopes to make it to the finals. They said it was disappointing as there were plenty of chances to take on defense as well as offense, which they didn’t take.

NFL Season 2016 Week 10: Cincinnati Bengals at New York Giants on Monday, November 14, 8:30 PM, MetLife Stadium

The Cincinati Bengals were also the losing side on Monday night at the Metlife Stadium, New Jersey against the New York Giants. It was a close tussle with the final score being 21-20. The final touchdown resulted from the Bengals costly mistake and the Giants’ quarterback Manning connected perfectly with Sterling for the night’s final touchdown. The Giants offensive game was on display on Monday and at the final whistle saw them have 72 offensive plays as opposed to 55 defensive ones. Bengals were up by six but were overwhelmed by the Giants’ offense that saw them recover and get all the points.

The Bengals’ quarterback, Andy Galton, particularly had quite a bad night due to the overall failure to protect him. This rarely happened last season but in the last few games we have seen it happen constantly and it is a key place where they will have to improve in their coming games. The Giants coach, McAdoo, was impressed by the offense players and believes the team is set to be more confident after the game. He mainly emphasizes on an attacking play and has attributed the success to how well the team has grasped the concepts in training and their execution in the field.

NFL Season 2016 Week 8: Cincinnati Bengals vs Washington Redskins on Sunday, October 30, 8:30 AM, Wembley Stadium

The Washington Redskins faced off against the Cincinnati Bengals is one of the most competed matches in NFL history in-front of a crowd of about 84, 488. The match ended in a 27- 27 tie between the two teams. One of the outstanding moments of the match was when Andy Dalton and the Kirk cousins regulation-time shootout turned into a comedy of errors. With just 2: 13 time left, the Washingtons seemed to have won the game when Dustin Hopkins threw his 34-yard goal attempt but it was negated by a Bengals timeout.

On the other hand, the Redskins had the ball with only 1: 11 remaining but Dalton fumbled at the Bengals for 47 on a quarterback. Both teams seemed disappointed as they were trying very hard to outdo each other without much success. Both of the teams defenses were strong making it hard for either team to score. Dalton made 27 of 42 for 284 yards in addition to a touchdown to one Tyler Eifert. Eifert scored nine catches for 102 yards. Both teams were equally strong and determined to prove their dominance by winning. Ultimately, no team could overcome the other and the match ended in a tie. We can only wait to see these teams performances in the upcoming matches.

NFL Season 2016 Week 7: Cincinnati Bengals vs Cleveland Browns on Sunday, October 23, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

Jeremy Hill got things started on Sunday by busting a huge run off the right side against the Browns in Cincinnati, and that was only a glimpse of things to come. A mighty looking Bengals offense got off to an early lead, only to find themselves trailing late in the 2nd quarter. However, a strong passing game by Andy Dalton soon pulled the Bengals ahead, as Dalton seemed to find Bradon LaFell and A.J. Green with ease all over the field. With essentially no time left on the clock the end of the 1st half A.J. Green caught a Hail Mary–with multiple Browns draped all over him–in an amazing play that is sure to be remembered as one of Green’s signature moments.

From that point on, there was really no doubt about the outcome of the game as the combination of Jeremy Hill and Giovani Bernard steamrolled through the secondary of the Cleveland Browns, each gaining touchdowns along the way. The Browns cut the lead to as few as four before a breakaway 74 yard run by Hill put the game out of reach. The game wasn’t a wash for the Browns though, as the rotating door at quarterback for Cleveland showed some promise from Kevin Hogan who, despite two late interceptions, was able to accrue over one hundred yards on the ground and an impressive scramble that led to a touchdown. Result: Bengals 34-17

NFL Season 2016 Week 6: Cincinnati Bengals at New England Patriots on Sunday, October 16, 1:00 PM, Gillette Stadium

The New England Patriots recorded a 35-17 win against the Cincinnati Bengals last Sunday. The match saw Cincinnati linebacker Vontaze Burfit’s being alleged of hitting New England Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett. Later, ESPN reporter, Mike Reiss posted the NFL video on twitter that displays how Burfict appears to be deliberately stepping on LeGarrette Blount’s leg during the fourth quarter. According to Pro Football Talk, Burfit is reported to have been fined about $75,000 and he is lucky not to have been suspended due to such foul play.

In relation to the game, Cincinnati appeared to have put all their efforts in the Sunday’s game against the New England Patriots at the Gillette Stadium only to succumb to a 35-17 defeat. Their slumber is attributed to a handful of errors in the third quarter that gave the New England Patriots a chance to unleash attacks in a five-minute stretch. This occurred between the 8.11 to 2.58 marks where the Patriots gained great points (24-15) that ultimately gave them a commanding lead. LeGarrette Blount later put the exclamation point after making a 1-yard touchdown less than a minute before the game ended. This fully secured the victory to the Patriots.

LaFell, one of the Bengals players, later pointed out that the Patriots were able to acquire great momentum especially for the third quarter, though they still felt that they made great effort in the game. Lewis was later to add that Bengals lacked the finishing power that led to them being defeated.

NFL Season 2016 Week 5: Cincinnati Bengals at Dallas Cowboys on Sunday, October 09, 4:25 PM, AT&T Stadium

The Cincinnati Bengals versus Dallas Cowboys match was a total disappointed for the Bengals fans and many of the experts as well. If we look at the result, the Bengals just could not put up a good performance at all. They lost badly to the Dallas Cowboys with the final score sheet reading 14 to 28 against them.

The match was played at the AT & T Stadium which was bursting with all the fun and the booze throughout the game. From the very start, the Cowboys dominated the match due to good execution of skills and better game play. The Dallas defensive line was getting a boost due to the return of their pass rusher Demarcus Lawrence, but the Cowboys could just gave up yards but not touchdowns. The Bengals were aware of such strategies and could not break into defense successfully.

The Cowboys only managed to give two plays to the opposition over the 20 yards as they ran stunts and twists with ease. As a result, they secured some better plays at the seven, eight and the 13 yards than the Bengals. As a result, the Bengals team was badly hurt as they couldn’t just match the skill and the accuracy of the Cowboys to score many points in the game. The fact is that the Cowboys cashed on the opportunities thrown to them and they kept the drives alive all the time.

NFL Season 2016 Week 4: Cincinnati Bengals vs Miami Dolphins on Thursday, September 29, 8:25 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The Cicinatti Bengals hosted the Miami Dolphins on Thursday the 29th night where the home team took the day with a 22-7 victory. This was despite the fact that the Dolphins launched their creamsicle-orange color uniforms. Are the new jerseys jinxed or are the dolphins just not talented enough? The Dolphins had a weak offense with their best score being the touchdown by Kenny Stills after a 74-yard pass by Ryan Tannehill.

After two back to back losses in their previous games, the Cincinatti Bengals were able to pick themselves up and get a win. The team seems to be getting on the winning track once again with the return of great players. Among these is Green, the team’s best receiver who led the Bengals to victory with 10 catches in 173 yards and one touchdown. Green was out to prove his worth after he did a meagre job in the team’s previous game in Denver which they lost. He was able to catch a 7-yard pass which allowed him to score the team’s only touchdown. On the Bengal’s defence was the linebacker Vontazr Burfict who was back after being suspended for three games over illegal hits. He managed to break a pass and had three tackles.

NFL Season 2016 Week 3: Cincinnati Bengals vs Denver Broncos on Sunday, September 25, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

Denver Broncos continued their perfect run to go 3 – 0 after beating Cincinnati Bengals 29 – 17. Trevor Siemian, who has since replaced Peyton Manning, continued his perfect record as a starter and on Sunday the young quarterback reached career highs in 4 touchdowns and 312 passing yards. Even though the youngster made some mistakes, the Bengals did make some too.

They dared the young quarterback to beat them and they will live to regret that since that is what he did. Generally, the Cincinnati Bengals game-plan cost them the game besides Darqueze Dennard still lacking his form after his injuries and Josh Shaw being injured during the game. The Cincinnati Bengals defense shambled with their play of relying on their front four to get to the quarterbacks and using the zone defense tactics. The let down in this plan was that they failed to get to the quarterback, and a wide receiver opened the field; case in point the touchdown pass to Emmanuel Sanders in the early minutes of the second quarter.

Their offense that included Andy Dalton was facing a Broncos defense that is standing out to be one of the best. Though there were bad calls like the illegal penalty called on Dre Kirkpatrick that could have derailed their players, Bengals plan to force errors from Siemian shambled, with the quarterback making some great throws that won the game for Denver Broncos.

NFL Season 2016 Week 2: Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, September 18, 1:00 PM, Heinz Field

Andy Dalton completed 31 passes on 54 attempts netting 366 yards in the Cincinnati Bengals’ loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 2. His only touchdown came too late in the fourth quarter. It was Big Ben Roethlisberger who managed to find receivers in the end zone on three occasions, once each to Deangelo Williams, Jesse James, and Xavier Grimble. Most glaringly, the Bengals lost two fumbles and got almost nowhere on special teams, managing just 21 yards on all returns combined. Credit to Mike Nugent who connected on all three of his attempts, the longest was 33 yards.

While the Bengals struggled to complete a first on third down (just 25% were successful), the Steelers completed 41 percent of theirs and never once committed a turnover. The Steelers dominated the red zone, reaching the end zone every time they made a visit. In something Cincinnati needs to look at for next week, their red zone offense laid an ugly goose egg and failed on three attempts.

The dagger in the game came just after the two-minute warning when Bengals’ rookie, Tyler Boyd, fumbled the ball to Robert Golden. The Bengals had one last chance with just seconds remaining but a poorly executed attempt at a hook-and-ladder left them defeated and dejected.

NFL Season 2016 Week 1: Cincinnati Bengals at New York Jets on Sunday, September 11, 1:00 PM, MetLife Stadium

The Bengals edged out the Jets with a 47 yard field goal that was kicked through the uprights by kicker Mike Nugent. The kick went through with just 54 seconds left in the game. The field goal came right after Nick Folk kicked a go ahead field goal that put the Jets up by three. The Jets took the lead after having been down twenty to nineteen. The Bengals are now seven and seven in season openers with coach Marvin Lewis.

Andy Dalton went 23 for thirty in the game, throwing for 366 yards, with one touchdown pass, and one interception. Dalton was sacked a career high seven times in the game, despite this, they still won the game.

Ryan Fitzpatrick went nineteen for 35, throwing for 189 yards of his own, with two touchdown passes, and one interception.

It all came down to, for the Jets, a missed extra point by Nick Folk as well as a blocked field goal attempt. The Jets would really wind up needing those points, without them, left four points on the table.

The Jets lead at the end of the first half seven to three, and led at the half sixteen to thirteen. Despite leads at the end of the first two halves, they would only score six points in the second half; getting outscored ten to six. The Jets also were scoreless in the third quarter, scoring all six of their second half points in the fourth quarter. The Bengals scored in every quarter of the game.

NFL Preseason 2016 Week 4: Cincinnati Bengals vs Indianapolis Colts on Thursday, September 01, 7:30 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The game Indianapolis Colts at Cincinnati Bengals was worth watching as the Colts go past the Bengals in the last minute touchdown by Stephen Morris. This star player’s 25 yard’s sprint going past Steven Smith just stole the game from the Bengals and left the scoreboard ticking at 13-10 giving Indianapolis a victory. Both the teams decided to rest the starters as they feared any injury ahead of the season. Unfortunately, the Indianapolis lost one of its cornerback Tevin Mitchell who suffered a hamstring injury during the game.

Indiana Colts’ Adam Vinatieri scored field goals from 21 and 46 yards respectively. The only field goal he missed was from 47 yards making his preseason count 7 out of 8. Both the teams could not score at half time but right after the halftime, Bengals picked up a field goal to take a lead of 3-0. The game reached an interesting point at that moment. To recover, Adam Vinaterri scored the two field goals for colts to give them a lead. Just under two minutes, Bengals tried to recover with a touchdown pass by Keith winning. Stephen Morris took the up the responsibility and scored with just 40 seconds left to end the game. This star player held his nerves and showed an impressive performance in the preseason, helping Indianapolis win by 13-10.

NFL Preseason 2016 Week 3: Cincinnati Bengals at Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, August 28, 8:00 PM, EverBank Field

While in the dress rehearsal, the Cincinnati Bengals looked good. However, the story on the pitch turned to be a little bit different. They did well in the first half while giving up 90 yards and only 3 points. Bengals has a perfect defense which proved when Rey Maualuga successfully shut down T.H. Yeldon. Giovany Bernard, couple of plays later, proved himself and saw an opportunity for a 19 yard catch and run.

The first 3 times ended up as something like: a turnover, three-and-out, three-and-out. Geno Atkins was definitely a huge part of this defense success. Finding out from the announcers that no one was up for volunteering to line up across from Atkins wasn’t a huge surprise. After this beasty defense, there will be less than a few players, this year, in the mood to line up across Atkins.

However, the backups weren’t as good. They allowed 23 unanswered points. AJ McCarron, Any Dalton’s backup, didn’t prove himself much. The difference between these two was Dalton’s ability to read defenses which gave him a possibility of changing the call at the line. The backups looked and behaved just as what they are – backup. They didn’t score any points, thus disappointing the fans. Even the depth of their offensive line looked unstable. The final hit was T.J. Johnson leaving the game due to a concussion.

Unable to score any points, the Bengals’ backups did not seem to add any value to the game at all. The depth of their offensive line looked a bit shaky at best and that was further compounded by the fact that T.J. Johnson had to leave the game to be evaluated for a concussion.

NFL Preseason 2016 Week 2: Cincinnati Bengals at Detroit Lions on Thursday, August 18, 7:30 PM, Ford Field

August 18 saw another clash of a lifetime between, Cincinnati Bengals and the Detroit Lions. The match had thrilling performances with both teams displaying confidence and football skill. The Bengals displayed a tough defense and an aggressive attacking combination that kept the Lions struggling. Marvin Jones made 32 and 19 yards, which was previously done by Mathew Strafford and this gave the match a new look.

The Lions had a remarkable attacking team of players but the tough defense wall by the Bengal was a major challenge. The red zone was a no-go zone thanks to Domata Peko and Marvin Lewis. Both teams had match standoff with each team displaying their best of tactics. Pat Sims and Margus Hunt put a lot of pressure on the defense that opened up Chris Lewis-Harris and Andre Roberts.

However, the Bengals added more line-pressure that reaped a field goal thanks to Vincent Rey. The Lions had some dangerous drives but the defense had tact and caught them at offside. Dan Orlovsky was at his best and hit Cole Wick gaining access to the tough Bengals defense with a 24-yard pass. He put in so much effort that ran into waste thanks to his line-support team.

The Bengals have improved on their defense and their red zone is a challenge for many teams. Lions need to organize the team and improve on the attacking if they are to compete effectively in future games. The NFL is getting more thrilling and remarkable.

NFL Preseason 2016 Week 1: Cincinnati Bengals vs Minnesota Vikings on Friday, August 12, 7:30 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The game saw quite a tussle between the teams who tried to iron out their own deficiencies and was quite evident throughout the proceedings of the game. The first half clearly belonged to the hosts as they rallied home by drawing the first blood as their rookies showed admirable resolutions. AJ Maccaron and Andy Dalton showed a lot of agility and grit as they pushed forward but were unable to score. But the man to look forward to on the field was Teddy Bridgewater. The Vikings though should improve upon their defense and protect Bridgewater more often and regularly if they want to extract the maximum benefit from him.

Also, Shaun hill and Joel Stave in first and second half played the perfect second fiddle perfectly. The game did not have any major injuries, but as the season begins, the injured players from last season should cope up more and stay away from any physical trauma.

Cincinnati Bengals NFL season 2015 recap

The Cincinnati Bengals crashed down in this season much sooner than fans expected. Their winning streak has ended when they lost in the 10th Week from Houston Texas. In the 15th week they clinched their playoff spot for the fifth year in the row, making them the first team in NFL history to lose five consecutive playoff games in the first round. But they did achieve some good results as well!

Andy Dalton, the quarterback, had 106,2 rating, the highest by a Bengals starting quarterback with significant starts. He did, though, suffer a fractured right thumb injury in week 14 against Pittsburgh.

They had 12 franchise-tying regular season wins. The last time they finished 12-4 was in Super Bowl seasons in 1981 and 1988. Their PCT was 0,750, PF 419 and PA was 279 in this season. Geno Atkins had 11 sacks which is sixth-best regular season total. A.J. Green has surpassed 1,000 receiving yards for the fifth consecutive season. The only other player to ever do it in NFL history is Randy Moss.

Carlos Dunlap broke previously-held mark by Eddie Edwards by achieving 13,5 sacks defensive. Many of the other players also had fantastic statistical outputs, so Bengals can definitely be proud of their success. 57 years old coach Marvin Lewis stays with the team, despite rumors of him leaving, so the team will enjoy stability at this vital leadership spot in the next season.

NFL Season 2015 Wild Card Weekend: Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers on Saturday, January 09, 8:15 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

Saturday’s AFC trump card diversion between the Steelers and Bengals was a moment great. What the initial 75% needed in fresh football, the final quarter compensated for in dramatization.

The diversion featured various turnovers, backbreaking punishments, unrealistic damage returns and an amusement winning kick—and that was just the most recent two minutes. Here are the main 10 minutes from the whole diversion:

Steelers cornerback William Gay thought he scored a touchdown off a bumble at a very early stage in Saturday’s amusement, so he celebrated in like manner at last zone. Unfortunately for Gay, the arbitrators observed his showmanship be somewhat over the top and tossed a banner for unsportsmanlike behavior. Making an already difficult situation even worse, Gay’s touchdown was gotten back to because of a punishment. The focuses were removed the board, however, Gay’s own foul was still authorized.

Boswell’s kick was marginally hostile to climactic after the former activity. In any case, his 35-yard field objective was no gimme. Boswell’s weight make was dominated by the insanity seconds prior, however, his score really accompanied the Steelers behind one point, and was ultimately the contrast between one more amusement or a long off-season.

This was the highlight of the amusement until the most recent couple of minutes. Bryant’s catch apparently challenged the laws of material science, with the collector holding the ball against his posterior with his arms tangled up with his legs. For quite a while, the score appeared as though it is sufficient to end the Bengals’ season.

NFL Season 2015 Week 17: Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, January 03, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

In a clearly familiar scenario, Bengals performance mimicked that of the past. A touchdown pass by A.J. McCarron marked a 24-16 victory for the Bengals against the Ravens. The game led to a third consecutive loss of Ravens, a first in the Franchise’s history. Therefore, with Raven’s season over, they could as well begin focusing and formulating strategies for the next season. Although the Ravens were leading at halftime, they eventually lost to Bengals because of their poor results in the third quarter.

Some football experts have said that Ravens are clearly responsible for their loss. In virtually every game of the season they have led in the second half then lost towards the end. The penalties committed by Ravens were so many that the team could not win against the Bengals. The key takeaway was the four-quarter leads that were blown by the defense. The Bengals had the most injured players compared to other NFL teams. Despite this, the record they attained (12-4) was the best in the franchise’s history. It was evident that the Bengals had been attempting to prepare MacCarron to begin in playoffs. His failure to see open receivers as well as off-target throws proved his inexperience.

NFL Season 2015 Week 16: Cincinnati Bengals at Denver Broncos on Monday, December 28, 8:30 PM, Sports Authority Field at Mile High

Denver punched its playoff ticket thanks to a fumble recovery by DeMarcus Ware in overtime against Cincinnati on Monday night. AJ McCarron, starting in place of the injured Andy Dalton, mishandled the snap from center Russel Bodine, giving Ware the opportunity he needed to snatch up the ball and seal the victory and Denver’s fifth straight playoff berth. To add insult to injury, or injury to insult in this case, McCarron injured his left wrist on the play.

The fumble recovery made Brandon McManus a part-hero, having hit a 37-yard field goal on the Bronco’s previous drive. He was almost the villain, though, as he shanked a 45-yard field goal in the fourth quarter that would have won the game for his team.

The Bengals had jumped out to a 14 point lead through almost two full quarters of play thanks to an A.J. Green catch and Mohomed Sanu run, but McManus gave the Broncos life with just 14 seconds left in the first half. Then, it was Denver’s turn as they racked up two touchdowns, including a long, 39-yard run from C.J. Anderson. Mike Nugent tied it up in the fourth quarter with a 52-yard kick, which was followed up by McManus missing later in regulation, then making late in overtime, with Ware sealing the deal.

NFL Season 2015 Week 15: Cincinnati Bengals at San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, December 20, 8:30 PM, Levis Stadium

The San Francisco 49ers committed four turnovers and lost for the fourth time in their last five games, falling to the Cincinnati Bengals 24-14. Perhaps the worst thing is that they were playing at home and they went into halftime trailing 21-0. The second half saw the 49ers scoring 14 points without reply but the damage had already been done and they could not salvage the game. Bruce Miller’s rushing touchdown was the first one in his career and it also sparked his team into trying to make a comeback only to fall short.

Even though the 49ers had some positive aspects in this game, it was not enough to win the game. One of the high points of their game was holding the first-place Bengals to just 242 net yards of offense but they failed to induce newbie Cincinnati quarterback A.J McCarron into throwing an interception. Another good thing that the 49ers did was that they played with lots of energy until the final whistle, unlike the other week when they faced Cleveland. The 49ers have the worst offense in the NFL and so they need to rely on their defense to win games. However, their performance in the first half was hard to watch and when the game resumed after the break, the already sparse crowd had thinned out to the level of friends and family.

NFL Season 2015 Week 14: Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, December 13, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The match between Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati Bengals was played on Sunday at the Paul Brawn Stadium. Before the match began, Vontaze Burfict, who is a Bengals Linebacker walked over to the Steelers Vince Williams during warmups and a scrimmage began. Putting the same energy into the match between the two teams, both sides played scrappy ball. Pittsburgh manage to score 33-20 against Bengals which happens to be an interesting division race.

Roethlisberger set the offensive mood early, after going for eight-to-eight on the starting drive that build a lead that the Steelers never turned down. He completed 30 out of 39 passes for about 282 yards with a single interception as he kept the offense moving. The offenses happened as DeAngelo Williams rumbled for two touchdowns and was effective from the backfield in the passing game. Against the Bengals, DeAngelo combined his third multi-rushing touchdown game of the 2015 season.

The Steelers anticipated this win over the Bengals for them to have a real shot at the post-season play. This win has put the Cincinnati at a challenging position in moving forward. Moreover, Dalton’s injury will make it difficult for the Bengals to move to the next three NFL games. The game gave Steelers an emotional cheerleader and portrayed them as danger in the league despite the early season misfortunes.

NFL Season 2015 Week 13: Cincinnati Bengals at Cleveland Browns on Sunday, December 06, 1:00 PM, FirstEnergy Stadium

The recent clash between Cincinnati Bengals and Cleveland Browns that took place on Sunday was not even a challenge for Bengals. Bengals completely demolished Browns in a one sided game. The final score was 37-3. It was the second most humiliating defeat for Cleveland since 41-0 against Pittsburgh back in 2005. This season is full of despair for Browns as they lost their seventh game in a row, while there are 4 more weeks left till the end of the season. After winning this game Cincinnati Bengals is one more step closer to secure their spot in the playoff.

The hero of the match for Bengals was its QB Andy Dalton who threw two passes that were converted into touchdowns. And he also ran for a score too. With this win now Cincinnati stands at 10-2 for the second time. But Dalton said that they it’s a new season, we are playing very well and they would not be brought to a halt but aim for 11-2. While it is well known that Cincinnati has never been able to win a single Playoff game in the presence of Andy Dalton but they would like to put an end to this misery this year. It is an event to remember.

NFL Season 2015 Week 12: Cincinnati Bengals vs St. Louis Rams on Sunday, November 29, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The game between Rams and Bengals was eagerly awaited as the team has a history of accrued wins. After the referee blew the whistle the game kicked off and Andy Dalton threw three touchdown passes before the team had a 31-7 victory over Rams. He threw two of these passes t A.J Green. The three touchdown passes had three interceptions inclusive of the one that Leon Hall returned for a score. After dropping two close-time games, the Bengals returned to sync against a team that toils to score.

During the first quarter, the Rams wasted good field position in a number of times. After they forced Cincinnati to punt from deep in its end they were flagged for roughing the punter for resulting in their first down.

In the second quarter, a 30-yard gain on a reverse to Marvin Jones set up a 21-field score by Nugent Mike which constituted to a 10-0 score. Austin made a 5-yard score. The Bengals however, regained their 10-point lead with a 22 touchdown pass that originated from Dalton to Tyler increasing the score to 17-7. Cincinnati, on the second half, came out running the ball on the opening possession but was intercepted by Janoris Jenkins. The defense of Bengals side however defended Rams from scoring. Bernard had a 44-yard catch and ran to make an 18 yard touchdown pass to Dalton putting Cincinnati ahead with 24-7. Leon Hall who is a Cornerback concluded the win with a 19-yard interception return for an amazing touchdown.

NFL Season 2015 Week 11: Cincinnati Bengals at Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, November 22, 4:05 PM, University of Phoenix Stadium

The Cincinnati Bengals suffered a 34-31 loss to the Arizona Cardinals, it was the second of the season and second in a row for the Bengals who lost just a week earlier to the Houston Texans. There was a lot of anticipation leading up to the game, in large part due to the history between current Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer and the Bengals, a team he played with for eight consecutive seasons. Neither team disappointed as it was a fierce back and forth competition beginning with an early 7-0 lead from Cincinnati in the first quarter. The lead went back in forth until the third quarter when a relentless Cardinals offense was able to score an impressive three consecutive touchdowns, putting them ahead at 28-14.

The Bengals weren’t done however and were able to tie the game up to 31-31 in the fourth with only seconds left on the clock. Seconds were all that was needed however as Cardinals kicker Chandler Catanzaro was able to put the ball through the uprights during the last two seconds of the game. Notably, and much to the chagrin of Bengals fans, Catanzaro was helped by a penalty call for unsportsmanlike conduct against the Bengals giving the Cardinals an additional ten yards. It was an exciting ending to an exciting game.

NFL Season 2015 Week 10: Cincinnati Bengals vs Houston Texans on Monday, November 16, 8:30 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The high scoring Bengals hit a low this past week when they played the Texas at home. They lost to a Houston team that has struggled this season with a 10-6 loss. Andy Dalton did not see the numbers he normally put up in games this year by throwing for only 197 yards with no touchdowns and 1 interception.

It was Brian Hoyer for the Texans who had less impressive numbers, but just enough gas in the tank to lead Houston to just their fourth victory in 9 games. Hoyer went 12/22 for 123 yards with no touchdowns and 1 interception. The only touchdown for Houston came when DeAndre Hopkins scored on a 22 yard pass from backup T.J. Yates who replaced Hoyer after Hoyer became injured in the third quarter with an apparent concussion. Yates produced 69 yards on 5 completions.

This is just another time when Dalton had a difficult time against the Texans defense. Back in 2011, the Texas beat the Bengals during the first round of the playoffs.

Giovani Bernard led the Bengals in rushing with only 36 yards on 8 carries. While for the Texans, Jonathan Grimes ran the ball for 33 yards on 6 carries. A.J Green had 67 yard on 5 catches for the Bengals.

NFL Season 2015 Week 9: Cincinnati Bengals vs Cleveland Browns on Thursday, November 05, 8:25 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The game was tight and the Bengals managed to score a 31-10 win over the Browns. It seems like the Browns’ defense was weak because it is not normal for a team to be scored so many yards as such.

The most impressing thing of Dalton’s performance is how casual it was. Bengals succeeded because yards came easily to them and they also had a strategy of positioning their players and score. Browns ought to have claimed their defense for the scoring from the beginning of the derby.

The Bengals’ strikers were excellent and did much on their part. Every time they scored, they did it in style and inserted new techniques that the Browns’ defenders were unaware of. Even though the Browns’ were defeated, they also managed to score ten yards, which were unexpected.

For now, the challenge has been thrown to the defense team of the Browns. May be the administration will consider recruiting a new defense team which will not allow yards to be scored easily.

Bengals will still continue raising their flag after beating the Browns because it is was a good show by defeating them with so many yards. The browns felt disappointed because that was not what they expected and also the Bengals should continue with the same spirit.

NFL Season 2015 Week 8: Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, November 01, 1:00 PM, Heinz Field

The Cincinnati Bengals won 16-10 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Their win on Sunday gave them the best ever start to a season in the NFL. They remain unbeaten so far this term. The payoffs may not be in the near future but the Bengals are certainly on a roll. The impressive Andy Dalton was the difference in the match. Dalton was 23 of 38 for 231 yards with 2 interceptions and 3 sacks in the game. He scored the all-important touchdown with less than 3 minutes to go. Shawn Williams’ interception set up the winning touchdown, his diving interception at the Steelers 45-yard line set up Dalton’s pass to Green, who was equally impressive with 11 catches for 118 yards set up Dalton who was waiting for the killer pass to kill off the game. The Steelers attempted a late fight back but Roethlisberger’s pass went out of the end zone. The Steelers improved in the second half especially in defense as the Bengals threatened to run riot. For the Steelers, they did not only lose the game but also they lost running back Le’ Veon Bell to a serous knee injury. Bell is still going scans to establish how serious and how long he will be out. This was Bengals’ first taste of victory in the last three attempts against the Steelers and only their second win away to the Pittsburg Steelers.

NFL Season 2015 Week 6: Cincinnati Bengals at Buffalo Bills on Sunday, October 18, 1:00 PM, Ralph Wilson Stadium

In the encounter between Cincinnati Bengals (34) and Buffalo Bills (21) at the Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday October 18, Bengals victory represents only 355 yards, and Buffalo 368 yards, however, the ball possession was quite equal, and with the help of the star receiver AJ Green and Andy Dalton gave the final touch with 20 of his 33 passes to Jones, Tyler Eifert and Jeremy Hill within 5 yards of the line scrimmage, giving Bengals what they needed to remain unbeaten after six straight matches. Despite of Buffalo Bills made a good entrance, and with a total of twenty two (22) 1st Downs and 1 turnover, facing injuries and several penalties it looks like they couldn’t overcome Bengals defense, allowing Cincinnati representatives take advantage.

On the other hand, Buffalo Bills are now placed on the third place of the AFC East Standing with only 6 points, New England Patriots and New York Jets are leading the chart.

Bengals are on the top of the AFC North Standing with 60 points, leaving behind Pittsburgh Steelers with 37, Cleveland Browns -17, and Baltimore Ravens with -19.

Let’s see if Bengals remain unbeaten on their next match this Sunday November 1st when they are face to face with Pittsburgh Steelers.

NFL Season 2015 Week 5: Cincinnati Bengals vs Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, October 11, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

Seattle Seahawks have been progressing so well in their current NFL campaign. Their recent triumph was a 24-7 win which saw them straight into the fourth quarter. Their defense has been so helpful in this campaign and it has been ranked to be one of the best. However, their clash with the Cincinnati Bengals displayed the opposite of what many expected.

The underrated Bengals came back and fought whole heartedly, trying the game on the last play of regulation and ended up winning it in overtime 27-24. To many peoples surprise, the Seahawks defense during this game seemed to be disorganized and were giving the Bengals so many chances which saw them being punished at the end of the game. It is undoubtedly that the Bengals deserved a win after a very pleasant display of the game with so much determination.

They really deserved a credit in this game. The results of the game might have been attributed to the fact that the Bengals were more organized with one aim of winning. Players like Tyler Eifert who scored a 14-yard touchdown and he seemed so much on form utilizing every opportunity that came his way.

NFL Season 2015 Week 4: Cincinnati Bengals vs Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday, October 04, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

Bengals still have the reason to raise their flag even higher after beating Chiefs ruthlessly on the 4th October 2015. The team has been on a high momentum for quite a good number of previous matches and they had no reason whatsoever to lose in this one.

Confidence was the main ticket to Bengals’ commanding win. The team has been performing quite well in the previous matches and this is why they faced Chiefs with a lot of confidence.

The strong defense mechanism that Bengals had was another profound reason behind their win. Most analysts termed Bengals’ defense as opportunistic. It was indeed opportunistic in the sense that plays were made only when necessary. The main support in the game was offered to the front team. The main strategy in the Bengals vs Chiefs game was to lame the strikers for the latter as a way of discouraging scores. The chiefs were not able to counter the strategy hence warranting them an automatic loss.

The dramatic win for the Bengals is certainly a fueling factor to more wins in the long run. More shouts of victory should be expected at least in the next game. Well, the fans to the winning team still hold strong confidence and hope that even more wins will be registered.

NFL Season 2015 Week 3: Cincinnati Bengals at Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, September 27, 1:00 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

A late drive, that was capped by a seven yard touchdown pass from Andy Dalton to A.J. Green won the game for the Bengals, and finished off the comeback. Up until then, they had been letting what was a fourteen point lead that they had entering the third quarter, turn into two different three point deficits.

The Ravens may have lost this game, but they still put up all 24 points they scored in the second half, against 14 points of the Bengals.

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton completed 20 passes on 32 attempts, throwing for 383 yards and three touchdowns, with one interception. Ten of his completions went to receiver A.J. Green, who had 227 yards and caught two touchdowns. He also lost a fumble.

Joe Flacco completed 32 passes on 49 attempts, throwing for 362 yards, two touchdowns and an interception. His favorite target was to Steve Smith Sr. who caught 13 passes for 186 yards, and 2 touchdowns.

A lot of the Ravens’ problem this season is they do not run the ball well, their defense isn’t very good, and they commit too many penalties. They have also had fourth quarter leads in each game so far, and they have blown all three of them.

NFL Season 2015 Week 2: Cincinnati Bengals vs San Diego Chargers on Sunday, September 20, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

This was one of the greatest games of the season. Bengals have been really tough to beat in its last two games. Dalton continued his impressive season when he led his team to a 24-19 thrash over Chargers on Sunday. With their team back, Bengals have their full strength back and they have become very hard to overcome. Throughout the game, the Bengals always led despite the fact that the Chargers were the last to score. Although the Bengals took the victory, the game was filled with mistakes from both the teams where both teams fumbled twice and each missed a field goal.

Dalton was the man to watch in the game, he passed a 9-yard throw to Tyler Eifert and this gave Bengals control over the mistake filled game. He also finished the 16 out of the 26 for 214 yards. He was not only successful in this game but also the game against the raiders. In the two games, he has gone41 of the 60 for 483nyards with 5 touchdowns; no sacks or interceptions. The Chargers were noted saying that the defeat was really humbling. They also said that they are waiting for the dust to settle so that they can look at what they did wrong in the game.

NFL Season 2015 Week 1: Cincinnati Bengals at Oakland Raiders on Sunday, September 13, 4:25 PM, O.co Coliseum

The Cincinnati Bengals mauled the Oakland Raiders 33-13 at the Oakland Coliseum in Oakland California. The Bengals’ quarter back Andy Dalton threw the ball over 269 yards which led to two touchdowns. Moreover, running back Jeremy Hill added two more scores to lead the Bengals to victory. The back end of the Raiders line-up was weak since there were Bengals’ receivers all over the Raiders secondary end. It was obvious that the Raiders were going to have a bad day when their starting quarterback left the field with a hand injury.

When Derek Carr clutched his hand in pain in the second quarter, the Raiders had lost of reason to worry. According to analysts and critics, the Bengals have a very healthy offensive line-up. Their receiver Tyler Eifert was on point. He caught all the passes from the quarterback and buried them deep in the Raiders secondary helping to seal a victory for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Cleveland Browns’ last NFL season

The Cincinnati may have had one of the most frustrating campaigns of the season of any NFL team. Strong on defense and balanced on offense, the Bengals fought hard all year long to remain relevant in the NFL’s toughest division, the AFC Central. Despite the challenges of dealing with two other very competitive, former Super Bowl winning teams, the Bengals finished the season at 10-5-1 (division 3-3), good for second place in the division and a playoff berth.

Their challenge was to go against the red hot Indianapolis Colts in Indianapolis. The Bengals needed their star players to show up and show out, but as was the usual case for Cincinnati, injuries took their toll. Star receiver A.J. Green missed his playoff game with a painful arm injury. Without a weapon of his caliber, the Bengals faltered yet again. They have the longest playoff winning drought in the NFL, at 24 years.

NFL Season 2014 Wildcard Weekend: Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, January 04, 1:05 PM, Lucas Oil Stadium

NFL Season 2014 Week 17: Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, December 28, 1:00 PM, Heinz Field

The Pittsburgh Steelers cemented their place in the post-season with a win over the Cincinnati Bengals. Both Andy Dalton and Ben Roethlisberger threw two touchdowns each, but it was the 10 points scored by the Steelers in the second quarter that eventually separated the two teams. The Steelers were the first to get on the scoreboard when wide receiver Antonio Brown returned a punt 71 yards for a touchdown, before Andy Dalton found Giovani Bernard in the endzone to tie the game moments later. Martavis Bryant’s 21-yard touchdown pass was the only touchdown of the second quarter, while both teams scored seven in the fourth. Ultimately the 10-point lead the Steelers built in the second remained solid until the end of the game.

The Steelers also claimed their playoff spot last week, but with this victory they will be able to progress as division winners. The Bengals will now have to go up against the Indianapolis Colts in Wild Card round, while the Steelers have to take on the rivaling Baltimore Ravens for a place in the Divisional round.

As a rookie, Manziel had his first start as Brown’s quarterback against their rivals the Bengals. During the Brown’s second drive, Gilberry sacked Manziel and followed up with Manziel’s signature money sight. Later on, linebacker Rey Maualuga flashed money signs in front of Manziel’s face after he batted down a pass. This cost the Bengals 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct. Combined with two more Bengal’s flags the Bengal’s easily made it to field goal range. During the third quarter Thompson got in on the action and flashed money signs after sacking Manziel. Manziel had a rough starting debut and only completed 10 of his 18 passes with two interceptions leading to Cleveland’s 30-0 loss to Cincinnati.

Two touchdown runs by Jeremy Hill helped the Bengals take a 17-0 lead. After which, he attempted to jump into the stands but was rejected by the Browns fans. This lead did not last long as rookie Manziel continued to have bad throws, sacks, and interceptions. It’s not all on Manziel, he did have one good throw to receiver Andrew Hawkins. Hawkins dropped the ball, another pass to Hawkins was intercepted by Dre Kirkpartrick. Even with this loss, this is a critical time in the season and the Bengals must push on if AFC North and a postseason are to be a reality.

NFL Season 2014 Week 14: Cincinnati Bengals vs Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, December 07, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

NFL Season 2014 Week 13: Cincinnati Bengals at Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday, November 30, 1:00 PM, Raymond James Stadium

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had a pretty dismal season this year. In week 13 they were head-to-head with the Cincinnati Bengals and it looked as though they had a chance to brighten their season a bit. In the final seconds of the game, they were just one point behind the Bengals. With the ball on second down at the Cincinnati 41-yard line and driving, a window of opportunity had opened for the Bucs as QB Josh McCown completed a 21-yard pass to receiver Louis Murphy.

The Bucs window came crashing down when Bengals Marvin Lewis challenged the play within the final two minutes of the half, costing the Bengals a time out, which was a potentially serious penalty considering that the Buccaneers were without one. But the odds returned in the Bengals favor when the review of the play shone light on a major problem – the Buccaneers had an extra man on the field during their play. The call forced the Bucs back to the Cincinnati 46-yard line and in the final second of the game the Bengals took over, despite three first-half interceptions from Andy Dalton, taking the victory and remaining at the top of the AFC North with an 8-3-1 mark.

This win was more special for him as it was on his father’s 55th birthday. The Bengals second win in two maintained first place in the AFC. It was also Dalton’s second successive strong game again relying on a fit A.J. Green who dealt with a toe injury. Green finished the game with 12 for 121 yards a career high later claiming that he felt in synch with the offense players.

Texans J.J. Watt was quoted saying that the Bengals strong performance was as a result of their ability to get the ball off their hands at lightning pace which left them helpless. On a individual fetes achieved the Houston’s wide receiver Andre Johnson had three receptions, passing Randy Moss for 10th in the all time list. Unfortunately right tackle Andre Smith injured his left bicep early on in the first-half and didn’t return.

NFL Season 2014 Week 11: Cincinnati Bengals at New Orleans Saints on Sunday, November 16, 1:00 PM, Mercedes-Benz Superdome

NFL Season 2014 Week 10: Cincinnati Bengals vs Cleveland Browns on Thursday, November 06, 8:25 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

This late-night game featuring the two rivals Cleveland and Cincinnati was to be a perfect feature game, to display salvaging the division for both teams and so hopefully proving themselves to be play-off material. In this game the Browns looked to win their third straight game and Cleveland was hoping to change their franchise’s history as they hadn’t won a road game in the North since 2008. The eventual 24 over 3 victory for the Browns pushed them up their division standing, to tie them for first place with Pittsburgh. Cincinnati looked out of their element and the efficiency of their game play was lacking, as Andy Dalton of the Bengals completed only 30% of his passes for a miserable 86 yards, including three interceptions, two sacks, and one the lowest possible passer ratings of 2. He was not only inconsistent, but also off target as his second pass of the game led to an interception by Cleveland’s linebacker Craig Robertson who ran it back for a huge return.

These quarterback errors resulted in Cleveland having the biggest half-time lead in franchise history since 1994. On a more positive note for the Bengals, this game featured Leah Still, the daughter of Cincinnati’s Devon Still who was brought onto the field to be handed a check for her cancer treatment, as she had flown all the way from Philadelphia to see her father play for the first time in her life. The point scorers for Cincinnati’s lone three points was kicker Mike Nugent with a 43 yard field goal. All three touchdowns for Cleveland resulted from an about five yard run from Ben Tate, Isaiah Crowell, and Terrance West. Finally the Browns capped off their 24 point victory with a 32 yard field goal from Billy Cundiff.

NFL Season 2014 Week 9: Cincinnati Bengals vs Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday, November 02, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

Andy Dalton and the Bengals were able to reign victorious over the Jacksonville Jaguars with their 33-23 victory. You could certainly see that the Bengals missed having A.J. Green within their lineup. Green himself was a little rusty, he missed one of the two of the breaks within a couple of routes, but he was able to catch a touchdown pass in the game.

The Bengals were also able to depend upon their defensive backfield and members like Reggie Nelson, Adam Jones and a host of others to confuse the young quarterback Blake Bortles. Bortles was able to have a fair amount of success finding Allen Hurns. Allen Robinson is beginning to emerge as a great receiving option, he proved things were heading in the right direction with his four catches. You have to wonder whether the Bengals will always have success once Giovanni Bernard is able to find his way back into the lineup. The Bengals are also enjoying their chance to work with a capable wide receiver like Mohammed Sanu. Sanu had bigger numbers, in comparison to A.J. Green in this game.

NFL Season 2014 Week 8: Cincinnati Bengals vs Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, October 26, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The Baltimore Ravens visited the Cincinnati Bengals this weekend and the game could not have been closer. What was a slow first half would turn into a slugfest that would leave only one winner. The Bengals were the first to draw blood and they did so in the first quarter when Andy Dalton ran it in for a 1-yard touchdown. The second quarter would see the Ravens score two field goals to bring the scores within one point. The second quarter would see the Bengals expand their lead once again by scoring a rushing touchdown through Giovani Bernard and a field goal. Late in the third quarter Baltimore would respond with a 10-yard rushing touchdown thanks to Lorenzo Taliaferro.

They would go on to attempt and score a two-point conversion through the ground via Justin Forsett. During the last quarter things stayed close, the Bengals would open their drive with a field goal with Baltimore responding 5 minutes later with a touchdown, again through an 8-yard run by Taliaferro. Baltimore would take the lead with a 53-yard field goal 3 minutes later with 3 minutes left to play. Finally the game would see a thrilling conclusion with less than a minute to play when the Bengals reclaimed the lead with another 1-yard rushing touchdown by Dalton, leaving the Bengals as the victors with a score of 27 to 24.

NFL Season 2014 Week 7: Cincinnati Bengals at Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, October 19, 1:00 PM, Lucas Oil Stadium

The Indianapolis Colts took full advantage of their homeland to maul the visiting Cincinnati Bengals 27-0. This victory over the Bengals cemented the Colts as one of the elite sides in the AFC. The Colts were simply steady and strong in every department. Their defense was very solid, giving the Bengals offense no chance to score. Marshaled by Greg Manusky, the defense turned in the best performance of the Chuck Pagano reign. The Inept Bengals defense was rendered clueless, lacking ideas on how to break down the Colts defense. Neither did Andrew Luck and His offense loosen the bolts. The victory was the Colts’ fifth in a row, only rivaled by the Dallas Cowboys. The Colts meet the Pittsburgh Steelers at Heinz Stadium.

As for the Bengals, this was just not their day in office. It was the first scoreless game since 28th Dec 2008. In their next game, they host the Baltimore Ravens, a match in which they will be seeking to redeem themselves from the painful loss.

NFL Season 2014 Week 5: Cincinnati Bengals at New England Patriots on Sunday, October 05, 8:30 PM, Gillette Stadium

Maybe it has at long last come. Maybe the New England Patriots’ status as one of the head groups in the NFL has arrived at an end. For 10 years, New England has challenged the equality laws of the NFL, which cut each effective group down. For 11 good years, the Patriots have won 10 or more amusements, a really shocking detail.

Yet there they were, getting completely pulverized 41-14 before the nation on “Monday -Night -Football” a week ago by the unremarkable Kansas -City -Chiefs, a week after they attempted to beat a marginal expert group during the Oakland – Raiders. You know where that terrains you? Home underdog status – a totally new spot for the Patriots.

As indicated by ESPN- Chalk -partner Evan Abrams, it is the first run through since 2003 that the Patriots have been an underdog at home when the contradicting quarterback was not Peyton Manning. While the Cincinnati Bengals are headed toward a noteworthy 3-0 begin, how about we not escape. Twoof the wins were at home, and their one street win was against the Ravens, who were now in full turmoil to begin the year. This is an establishment that has not won a playoff amusement since 1990. To be supported in New England would appear to be overcompensation to the Patriots’ terrible execution a week prior. With that Monday night calamity crisp in its psyche, the general public was after the Bengals at a 66 percent cut as indicated by ESPN Pick-Center.

NFL Season 2014 Week 3: Tennessee Titans at Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, September 21, 1:00 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The Cincinnati Bengals had a wonderful weekend after they thrashed the Tennessee Titans 37-7, at Paul Brown Stadium on Sunday 21st September 2014. The win came after another offensive show displayed by quarter back Andy Dalton and his teammates. The Titans got penalized eleven times for ninty nine yards. They managed to get a total of three hundred and twenty six yards. Their quarter back, Jake Locker was so under pressure through out the game and managed only two intercepts the whole game. On the other hand, the Cincinnati Bengals managed one hundred and sixty nine rushing yards from a number of the teammates, and this gave them the chance to control the tempo of the game.

Dalton managed to get his first interception of the year, forty four seconds before halftime. The second half was not too tasking for the Bengals. Dalton managed fifteen of twenty three for one hundred and sixty nine yards and kept a record of not being sacked for a third straight game. This win has seen the Bengals start the season in the perfect way, they lead in their group with three straight wins.
