Miami Dolphins NFL season 2016 recap

The year 2016 Miami Dolphins season so the dolphin improve between 6-10 record as compared to the year 2015, The Dolphins had a slow take off for the season but later the dolphins claimed 6 wins and thus it made it finish the season on 9-2 run points, finally within their week 15 it made a win over the New York Jets and thus clinching a winning record ever since the year 2008.

Notably, the Miami Dolphin was the firsts AFC team of the East to have a clinch of a playoff spot which was beside the New England Patriots since the year 2010 when it was clinched by the New York Jets.

2016 NFL Wild Card Weekend: Miami Dolphins at Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, January 08, 1:50 PM, Heinz Field

Miami lost to the Dolphins in the past game with a 30-12 score. The Steelers just hammered the famous Dolphin to end the Dolphin`s surprise season right away. The famous Steelers have just ended the season for Miami. The Dolphin were hammered so hard that they just ended up in the middle of a hurricane. Miami is still thinking about the defeat today. Mr. Moore received a hit from Mr. Dupree that left the former prone on his strong back for a long time. This is just one of the plays of this drubbing.

Mr. Moore said that he will go see a physician right away. He was just afraid that he had no teeth, which is a shame for any football player out there. Mr. Moore just missed 1 play, as he insisted that he was not concussed at all. The player was evaluated by the physician of the team and an unaffiliated neurological consultant. But Moore also knows what it is just like to suffer any sort of concussion these days, as he had to suffer from one just 5 months ago. Mr. Moore did not want to tap out of the game when he was talking about this.

2016 NFL Week 17: Miami Dolphins vs New England Patriots on Sunday, January 01, 1:00 PM, Hard Rock Stadium

Patriots are led by the iron will of head coach Bill Belichick and they will do what ever it takes to make him proud. Facing off against Miami Dolphins and their head coach Adam Gase the energetic Dolphins opened up with a good defense. But Patriots made their first move and they scored a touchdown first.

Bennet slided behind enemy lines like a ninja on a mission. Afterwards Floyd runs with the ball like Aaragon charging at the black gate with a burning desire to score a touchdown he extends his arm and scores an amazing touchdown. 14:0 Great Job Floyd!

Patriots kept the lead up to 20:0 and then Landry Jarvis finds the opportunity bouncing off like a cricket, and scores a counter touchdown. Making it 20:7 scoring the first touchdown for the Miami Dolphins. Well played Jarvis. Few moments later we see a ball thrown at the goal side of Patriots and Kenny Stills or should I say „steals“? Another touchdown for Miami Dolphins excellent performance right there. A beautiful catch making it 20:14. Short time after that Julian „Bolt“ Edelmen grabs the ball and starts to sprint towards the Miami Dolphins field goal like he is being chased by hounds, he gets attacked but Michael Floyd jumps in like a super hero and smashes the evil Tony Lippett away, what a scene! Julian scores a touchdown and its 27:14 for Patriots. The game ends with a result of 35:14 for New england Patriots.

2016 NFL Week 16: Miami Dolphins at Buffalo Bills on Saturday, December 24, 1:00 PM, New Era Field

At the other end, it was such an exciting clash of muscles between Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills. With the Dolphins desperately salivating the playoffs, the encounter was no round table truce, it was war at its violence. Most times this season, the Miami defence have been some NFL Santa Claus gifting other teams cheap comebacks. But in the game they held out impressively well to beat the Buffalo Bills 28-25 at the end.

In the game, Jay Ajayi was an everflowing spring of relish to the Miami Dolphins populace. In the the first quarter, he made that run that gets the hearts of the fans chasing after him in excitement. Well you may be sternly pragmatic and say it was just a two-yard touchdown, but hey Jay Ajayi showed Lamar Miller wore his shorts on diapers, he was such a crawling toddler compared to the forceful military Jay Ajayi.

Also Cameron Wake and Ndamukong Suh showed they were had that lovely Adam and Eve compatibility. Ndamukong Suh is surely the missing rugby rib of Cameron Wake as they have proven to be the one of the most dazzling DT-DE combinations in the league. One spectacular moment in the game was on a second quarter fourth-and-1. LeSean McCoy gets the ball from Tyrod Taylor, but before McCoy even nabs the ball, Suh is there already mauling the Buffalo’s right guard, who begs to hold him back. This creates an avenue for Kiko Alonso to crash a gap finishing off McCoy tastefully. It would be saying Afghanistan is a nice resort for a family vacation if you say McCoy had a chance there. Moore also had his contribution and Kenyan Drake was impressive with a remarkable 45-yard touchdown down the right sideline. In all the Miami Dolphins crowned everything with a thrilling exciting win that sends them to the playoffs!

2016 NFL Week 15: Miami Dolphins at New York Jets on Saturday, December 17, 8:25 PM, MetLife Stadium

Sunday, December 18, at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, New Jersey the Miami Dolphins were playing against the New York Jets where quarterback Matt Moore passed for four touchdowns that lead to victory. Xavien hoard from the Dolphins was supposed to go easy in the game but when Maxwell had an ankle injury, he stepped up. He was covering for Brandon Marshall where he played very aggressively. Tony Lippett proved once again that he can handle playing in NFL as cornerback after snapped the ball away from Bryce Petty. Bryce Petty who is a first year quarterback made some mistakes that were exploited by Matt Moore. Even though he has not played in a while, he handled the pressure from the jets quite well.

The win by Dolphins of 34-13 against the jets was a welcome win. It was a competitive game especially the first half where the jets came out strong. The game saw Anderson receive two touchdowns of 40 yards each by a jets player since 2010. The jets were not on their A game this season as they have lost so many games. All in all it was a good game that saw the Miami dolphins crush the jets. Hopefully one day soon the jets will recover from their awful luck and make a comeback before the season is over.

2016 NFL Week 14: Miami Dolphins vs Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, December 11, 1:00 PM, Hard Rock Stadium

The Arizona Cardinals led by Quarter Back C. Palmer, barely missed a 23 all draw when they lost to Miami Dolphins 23-26. In this hard challenged game, accusations of cheating rent the air as Arians did particularly blame the Dolphins for cheating in the game. This happened after the Dolphins yelled out the Cardinals’ snap count and that brought about a missed additional point by Chandler Catanzaro ahead of schedule in the game. Obviously football authorities dependably grant a punishment if a defense copies an offense’s snap count. This was the situation.

However, this instance did not stop the Dolphins from winning the gamie. R. Tannehill tossed three touchdown before being injured on the knee, and A.Franks kicked a 20 yard goal as time lapsed to assist the Dolphins defeat the Cardinals 26-23 on Sunday. Despite Cardinals mounting touch-down drives of ninety nine and fifty yards to draw, however, Miami resisted with a punt. Moore tossed a 12-yard finishing to Stillsfor a touch down and later set-up Franks’ triumphant kick.

The Dolphins win marks a seventh win in the previous 8-games and boosted their 8-year playoff dry season. The Miami Dolphins are 8-5. By one means or another. Regardless of poor hostile and cautious rankings. In spite of wounds to Mike Pouncey and Reshad Jones and now Ryan Tannehill the game was fanciful to watch.

2016 NFL Week 13: Miami Dolphins at Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, December 04, 1:00 PM, M&T Bank Stadium

Everything that had gone well for Miami Dolphins during their 6 games run turned out badly in the Ravens’ 38-6 defeat of the Dolphins. Tannehill tossed the ball to the wrong team and he had 3 capture attempts. The pass defense was a strainer as Flacco roasted the Dolphins for 381-yards and 4 touchdowns on an establishment record of thirty six completions.

The Miami Dolphins did not get much good play on the ground in the 62-yards as a team. What’s more, they could not get off the field as Baltimore had a chance to convert five of eleven, third-downs and both 4th-down tries. The Ravens first took the ball and Flacco in an instant started carving up the Dolphins’ defense. He managed to complete 6 passes to different receivers in the first drive, including T. West, who topped the drive with a three yard touchdown catch.

In drive 2 was much the same as Drive 1 as Flacco went five of seven for 69-yards and yet there was another score to Dennis Pitta for the 13-yards. The openings were simply the most demoralizing of the Dolphins defensive series in the recent times.

There were eleven minutes and seven seconds left in the 1st half when the Ravens, took their game up to 14-0, taking over their own 12. With 18 plays later, Flacco and Pitta made another score that went 103-yards since Baltimore was docked 15 by the NFL officials, which took eight minutes, fifty seconds off the clock. There was more than a half of the game still to play but the game was already over.

2016 NFL Week 12: Miami Dolphins vs San Francisco 49ers on Sunday, November 27, 1:00 PM, Hard Rock Stadium

Dolphins won for the 6th straight time beating the 49ers 31-24. Furthermore, they won fair and square by making an unequivocal play in the last dying game moments. The game started with a defensive snappy three and out. Colin Kaepernick exploited the energy and started walking the 49ers offense around the field quickly.

Tannehill started with a grip, 17-yard toss to J. Landry in the early minutes of the 2nd quarter . A 14-yard toss to K.Stills was a great movein the game. Miami seemed to have a touch-down on a blur course to Parker, yet the skilled wide-out couldn’t get his 2nd foot-down before his lower arm hit beyond the field of play.

Later, J. Ajayi found the end-zone in any case on a 2-yard rushed draw, 7-7. In the wake ball spiking, J. Kerley made a bazaar get on the correct sideline for a pickup of 18 yards. Ndamukong Suh handled Colin Kaepernick 2 yards shy of the objective line as time ran out, and the Miami Dolphins gave the 49ers a record tenth consecutive loss. Miami hung on for its 6th straight-win. The Dolphins still have the second-longest dynamic winning streak in the NFL behind just the Dallas Cowboys’ 10-game run. This denotes the eleventh time in 51 Dolphins seasons they’ve had a six-game winning streak.

2016 NFL Week 11: Miami Dolphins at Los Angeles Rams on Sunday, November 20, 4:05 PM, Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum

The path to the Super Bowl is littered with last minute victories and closeouts this year. The Miami Dolphins took on the Los Angeles Rams at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on November 20, 2016. The Rams didn’t look too shabby at the beginning of the game when Coach Jeff Fisher started the new quarterback Jared Goff. Though the Dolphins have been under the radar this season, they were collecting a nice trail of winning games leading up to last Sunday’s win against the Rams. Though the Rams, were on a 4-game losing streak (they had one win against the Jets before they played against the Dolphins), they were able to hold their own against the Dolphins and shut them out for the first half of the game.

A huge moment of the game was during the 3rd quarter, when Lance Kendricks, tight end for the Rams, fumbled the ball which was received by Kiko Alonso, middle linebacker for the Dolphins. Greg Zuerlein, the place kicker for the Rams, kicked a 46-yard goal with 1:43 remaining in the third period, his second at that distance with Los Angeles. But it was not enough. Adding insult to injury, DeVante Parker caught a 9-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Tannehill, to cement Miami’s path to victory and called a decided end to a hard-hitting game.

2016 NFL Week 9: Miami Dolphins vs New York Jets on Sunday, November 06, 1:00 PM, Hard Rock Stadium

New York Jets at Miami Dolphins saw the home team emerge victorious with a 27-23 final score. The Jets are now 3 in 6 while the Dolphins are 4 in 4. The Dolphins’ running back Kenyan Drake ran back a kickoff for a touchdown, making the score 26-23 late in the fourth quarter, and his combination with Jakeem Grant could become the most dreaded in the league. Although they possess different styles, they both have the ability to return a kickoff or punt for a quick score any time.

If it wasn’t for a penalty, Grant ought to have scored a try from a 57-yard punt-return touchdown just before the interval. Drake’s illegal block wasn’t missed by the officials so the touchdown didn’t count. Grant was also unlucky to see his 19-yard kickoff-return ruled out because one of the Jets was offside. But Drake redeemed himself in the most spectacular manner with a 96-yard kickoff-return for the match-winning touchdown. The Dolphins have now won three straight games and it’s their longest streak since 2014. The young players have really stepped, characterized by Jay Ajayi, who has burst onto the scene in the past month and is now a fearsome running back. Even though he couldn’t make history by being the first NFL player to have three consecutive 200-yard rushing games, he still managed 11 yards and helped his team run down the clock for a third come-from-behind win.

2016 NFL Week 7: Miami Dolphins vs Buffalo Bills on Sunday, October 23, 1:00 PM, Hard Rock Stadium

The Miami Dolphins won a close one against the division rival Buffalo Bills, largely on the back of Jay Ajayi’s second consecutive 200 plus yard game . Lesean McCoy was doubtful for the game, but suited up anyway. This may have proven to be a misguided call, however, as he was pulled out of the game in the first half with a nagging hamstring issue that has yet to be resolved. After the two teams only managed to match a pair of field goals in the first quarter, things started getting hot after a nifty read-option by Tyrod Taylor went for six.

Soon after, a long bomb to Goodwin found the Dolphins down 17-6 in the second half where the tide started to turn for the Dolphins. Ryan Tannehill made some great plays to keep alive a long drive at the end of the third quarter, plus a two point conversion pushed the score to within a field goal. On their next possession Jarvis Landry extended a crucial long 3rd down and Jay Ajayi pounded the ground relentlessly to push the Dolphins over the top at the end of the game. Jay Ajayi earned a feather in his hat during the game, becoming only the 4th Running Back in NFL history to rush for back-to-back 200 plus yard games. The others on that short list are name O.J. Simpson, Earl Campbell, and former Dolphin, Ricky Williams.

2016 NFL Week 6: Miami Dolphins vs Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, October 16, 1:00 PM, Hard Rock Stadium

After the fourth quarter play with the Dolphins last Sunday, the Pittsburg Steelers have gone ahead to file an official complaint with NFL against foul play to one of its players. The Steelers accuse Miami Dolphins defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh for unleashing a kick against quarterback Ben Roethlisberger in the leg during the match. As the match ended 30-15 in favor of the Dolphins, Roethlisberger had to leave the game in the second quarter after suffering from left knee injury though he came back to play during the second half.

The Steelers wants a clear review of that game in order to ensure the right action has been undertaken. They have even sent the league video showing how Suh kicked Roethlisberger. Actually, Suh appeared to be blocked by Steelers’ right guard David DeCastro before raising his leg to kick Roethlisberger in the leg. This is not the first incident where Suh has been involved in a dirty play while on field. Apparently, during his career, he has been fined and disciplined a number of times, including being in suspension twice.

Meanwhile, last Sunday’s game saw the underdog charged Miami .Dolphins beating the favored Pittsburg. According to Las Vegas sportsbooks, the win is described as the “largest win of any NFL game this year”. That was indeed a great win as many straight bets were on Pittsburg only to favor the Steelers.

2016 NFL Week 5: Miami Dolphins vs Tennessee Titans on Sunday, October 09, 1:00 PM, Hard Rock Stadium

Entering Sunday’s game, both the Titans and the Dolphins had won one game in their first four games, so for both teams, this was a must win game.

The Dolphins, even though they only lost by thirteen points, did not have a good game on Sunday. By the second quarter, Dolphin fans were booing their quarterback, Ryan Tannehill and wanting Matt Moore to take over. Matt Moore is Tannehill’s backup and has not started a game since 2011.

Marcus Mariota completed twenty of his twenty-nine passes, throwing for 163 yards, three touchdowns, and zero interceptions in the game. He also rushed for a touchdown, scoring a total of four touchdowns in the game.

Ryan Tannehill completed twelve of his eighteen passes, throwing for 191 yards, threw zero touchdowns, and two interceptions in the game.

Tennessee pulled out to an early lead, and never wavered. They were up seven to nothing at the end of the first and 21-14 at the end of the first half. In the second half, the Titans only scored nine points, but were able to hold the Dolphins to three. The Titans put points on the board in every quarter of Sunday’s game.

2016 NFL Week 4: Miami Dolphins at Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, September 29, 8:25 PM, Paul Brown Stadium

The Cicinatti Bengals hosted the Miami Dolphins on Thursday the 29th night where the home team took the day with a 22-7 victory. This was despite the fact that the Dolphins launched their creamsicle-orange color uniforms. Are the new jerseys jinxed or are the dolphins just not talented enough? The Dolphins had a weak offense with their best score being the touchdown by Kenny Stills after a 74-yard pass by Ryan Tannehill.

After two back to back losses in their previous games, the Cincinatti Bengals were able to pick themselves up and get a win. The team seems to be getting on the winning track once again with the return of great players. Among these is Green, the team’s best receiver who led the Bengals to victory with 10 catches in 173 yards and one touchdown. Green was out to prove his worth after he did a meagre job in the team’s previous game in Denver which they lost. He was able to catch a 7-yard pass which allowed him to score the team’s only touchdown. On the Bengal’s defence was the linebacker Vontazr Burfict who was back after being suspended for three games over illegal hits. He managed to break a pass and had three tackles.

2016 NFL Week 3: Miami Dolphins vs Cleveland Browns on Sunday, September 25, 1:00 PM, Hard Rock Stadium

Sunday is a great day as the Browns prepare to meet Dolphins at Hard Rock Stadium. Onset at 1 pm. Last Sunday Miami lost the match to the Browns with a score of (0-2). The game was tight, and Miami Dolphins committed to winning.

The Browns are the youngest participants in the NFL in this season. However, they are limping to Miami as they will be without top quarterbacks. They will also be disadvantage without rookie wide receiver Corey Coleman, injured during practice on Wednesday.

Browns LT Joe Thomas Vs De Mario Williams from Dolphins: In week 2 William had one tackle for the entire game at New England. But he is an outrageous pass rusher. Since entering the league in 2006, he has 97 career sacks. Tomas may have to defend a little longer with rookie Cody Kessler.

A groin injury may keep Arian Foster on the bench, but the Dolphins rarely run (36 times in two games), and QB Ryan should take a chance to rock and score against front seven from Cleveland. Miami could turn to a bib number if Dolphins get traction in the running game. For the last two weeks, passing game for the Browns has been an issue.

2016 NFL Week 2: Miami Dolphins at New England Patriots on Sunday, September 18, 1:00 PM, Gillette Stadium

Matt Slater was awesome running past Garoppolo quite easily making an awesome strike down the road. Slater moved fast running by Howards on an awesome deep post. He was separated from this player by around three yards as well. Howard is a true sure tackler who is more prone to be comfortable in any tight coverage out there. It is not quite good watching all the room that Mr. Maxwell and Mr. Howard give any receive at times.

Jelani Jenkins and Kiko Alonso just struggled in their pass coverage. Jenkins and Alonso were moving around shifting away from the receiving targets of the Patriots every time Garoppolo seemed to move his eyes. In the first 2 games, Alonso did a better job at running then passing. Fans might be thinking about how Garoppolo just escaped Alonso`s grasp just for a sure sack. Amendola scooted by when Jenkins and Alonso took some false steps truly to their left on the moment that Amendola performed his first touchdown catch. Alonso appeared as if he was anticipating a pass in a flat when he allowed Bennett just to get behind him. Alonso performed a 20-yard touchdown in the game to Bennett as well, which is awesome for him.

2016 NFL Week 1: Miami Dolphins at Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, September 11, 4:05 PM, CenturyLink Field

The game played between the Seattle Seahawks and the Miami Dolphins saw yet another fourth quarter comeback by Russell Wilson. Though he had an ankle injury, Wilson was able to throw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Doug Baldwin. This score was made with only 31seconds left in the clock which put the final scores on the board at 12-10. Here is a rundown on how it all happened.

The first quarter ended with a 3-0 lead by the Seahawks after a 39-yard field goal scored by Steven Haushka. The next quarter began with Kenny Stills, a wide receiver dropping a sure touchdown pass. Andrew Franks soon kicked a 41-yard field goal bringing the scores to a 3-3 draw. Before getting to halftime, the Seahawks took the lead again after a 38-yard field which earned them 3 extra points. On starting the third quarter, the man on whom all eyes lay, Rusell Wilson injured his right angle after Ndamukong Suh sacked him. The scores however did not change with Miami’s safety Isa Abdul-Quddus blocking Rusell’s pass attempt to Doug Baldwin. It was during the final quarter that most scores were made.

The first was a two yard touchdown by the Dolphin’s Quarterback Ryan Tannehill taking his team to the lead with 10-6 score with only 4 minutes and 6secionds remaining on the clock. The final move was made by Russell Wilson who passes a two-yard touchdown pass to Doug Baldwin who made the final score earning the Seahawks the win seconds before the final whistle was blown.

Preseason 2016 NFL Week 4: Miami Dolphins vs Tennessee Titans on Thursday, September 01, 7:00 PM, New Miami Stadium

Tennessee Titans vs Miami Dolphins in NFL games, they won it by 21-10. This is a 4th preseason games, it’s only preseason but yes they are playing superb. Derrick Henry unstoppable and Murray are deadly, they have started well & finished well as well. Miami Dolphins disappointed their fans by their defensive play that is one of the reason they lost it by huge margin. Miami issue is many starting with tackling of players, this games also look similar to earlier 2 preseason games.

Miami Dolphins has also changes many players in this games but this games is throughout disappointing games has not impressed anyone, some big stars was missing in this games like Ryan Tannehill, Ndamukong Suh, Jarvis Landry. This is not a great entertainment, it seems like routine play.

Tennessee Titans and Miami Dolphins played there game in hard rock stadium. This stadium is newly renovated, it is integrated with modern facilities, so that players and fan would love the environment.

This games are like a high school exam, you have to appear in this and perform well, even if you don’t like it. In the lovely environment of hard rock stadium we can see the fans and the players fighting hard to win. Each teams are doing their best.

Arian Foster have won the starting running, he is dressed but didn’t play. Jay Ajayi carried the ball three times and one pass thrown on his way, he rooted on the first snap and released the lone pass attempt.

Preseason 2016 NFL Week 3: Miami Dolphins vs Atlanta Falcons on Thursday, August 25, 8:00 PM, New Miami Stadium

The Miami Dolphins eventually came out of their third game in the preseason with a sense of confidence having emerged victorious over the Falcons with a 13-9 score. Following the unsatisfactory performance that had been previously witnessed, the team seems to be picking up under the leadership of their new coach Adam Gase.

Despite the positive energy and push witnessed during this game, this is not to say the team is finally on the right track. There are certain critical issues about the team that need immediate attention. The signing of players, field management and pay should be keenly looked at if positive results are to be sustained.

There are certain players that put their best foot forward to earn the Dolphins victory. The credit goes to linebackers led by Koa Misi. These players ensured they made the right play and tackled opponents with great precision and speed. They depicted efficient teamwork and brotherhood. Ryan Tannehill played his role in the pocket and took charge of the offense to propel the game forward. Line blocking and pass protection was well handled.

However, there are a few setbacks that need attention. Jordan Cameroon needs to work on his efficiency. The players at the cornerbacks and defensive lines need great improvement if the team has to perform.

Preseason 2016 NFL Week 2: Miami Dolphins at Dallas Cowboys on Friday, August 19, 8:00 PM, AT&T Stadium

This was a tremendous win for Dallas Cowboys as they thrashed Miami Dolphins 41 – 14 in a game which resulted in a hip injury for Pouncey, which could mean that he will miss out on the opener on September 11th at Seattle for Miami. With his previous history of hip trouble, it did not come as a surprise. Dallas had three holding penalties which stalled the game in the first five plays with a struggling defense from Miami Dolphins. Miami completed five of their seven third downs and Dolphins scored touchdowns on two of three red-zone trips. The success of Dolphins was from their athletic quarterbacks on the move.

Miami Dolphins had a great start with a victory of 27 – 10 against New York the previous Friday and with an injured player, we will see how they will tackle the game with Atlanta the coming Thursday as it puts a crimp in the team’s plans. Dallas Cowboys, on the other hand, had a close tie against Los Angeles the previous Saturday. They will have renewed energy when they play against Seattle this Thursday, August 25th.

Be sure to tune in on the coming games as the Regular season will soon start in the middle of September with more exciting games coming up.

Preseason 2016 NFL Week 1: Miami Dolphins at New York Giants on Friday, August 12, 7:00 PM, MetLife Stadium

Miami Dolphins were minus two of their best players Odell Beckham and Eli Manning, but this did not prevent them from winning 27 to 10 against the New York Giants. The era of Ben McAdoo began with a bit of dull and anti-climactic game which was sabotaged by an awful quarterback play by one of their player Ryan Nassib. As always, the first Miami Dolphins pre season game is sloppy, and this was not an exception.

McAdoo needs to advise and make this team play more disciplined and a higher level football. In this game, Turnovers were too many, and the Giants were a bit lucky that there weren’t a lot more. Nassib could have pulled off more than twice. The Giants luckily recovered six of their six muffs.

The Giants were on the offense which was not good. This was aided by the two Miami Dolphins penalties. The Giants team drove 74 yards in nine plays on their opening drive which made them score their only touchdown during that evening. The other points were set by a turnover which returned to the Dolphins 11-yard line. The Giants gained their first five downs on their first drive and only other seven on the remaining 13 drives. The passes made during the game were beyond pathetic accruing to a net of 69 yards. The running during the match was more productive with 158 yards rushing.
